:) Hope it makes your life as much easier as it has mine. The only problems I've had after getting it to go on my Mac is the LDAP function, but since the need for that function isn't as critical for me as the calendar things (I have 3 online and used to have 2 additional unsyncable calendars in my iCal). One interesting feature is the RSS-to-calendar-post function. Simply put: http://localhost:9090/%5Bentire-RSS-URL-minus-HTTP://%5D (without the brackets). Come payday, I'll fire up my old Paypal account, just for them;)
Sounds like Cybercity just upgraded in your area (they are, AFAIK, the only ones doing the free upgrades, yes?)
My connection costs... just shy of 500 dkk/month for 20/20. That's around 100$. Granted, I opted for 10/10 at half that price, because I honestly don't need 20/20 - and that's even though my boss is paying my ISP fees (and he would gladly up it if I asked him)
(Før du spørger: Det er gennem min boligforening:) - men ikke lige så rart som min kammerats 60/20 til 150kr/md)
Like anyone would hand the answers to an 8-year old. That game is ancient.
Apart from that, yes I am. That is not to say I don't pay for quality stuff, I just want to be sure before I pay. Some would say that buying 2 games/month when I play less than 5 hrs/wk is excessive. Esp. when close to half that time is Guitar Hero against the missus.
Service has never been an issue with you guys - which is why I'm sorry to tell you that in all likelihood, you'll lose 5 Enhanced accounts at renewal, following these news. Well, following the full propagation to Google Apps, anyway. One of those accounts we spent around 300$ on extra storage less than a year ago:-s
YMMV, but GCALDaemon will set you up, The guides were all made before they made a GUI configurator (GCALDaemon/bin/config-editor.sh), which makes it so easy it ought to be a crime. HTH:)
People seem to be misinterpreting what this is about, partially due to the vague nature of the summary. They aren't talking about those 'enter your birthdate to enter' gateways to porn sites; this is about websites being required to have verification that all actors involved are, in fact, of legal age. That is, effectively, the complete opposite of what TFS had me believing. I thought it was the patrons. Thank you for clearing that up.
Does anyone remember the Leisure Suit Larry age verification questions? As a kid who couldn't get into the game, I sure do.
Adult natured games in 16 color EGA for the kids of yester year, gonzo orgy divx on demand for the kids of today.
The future is fucked. You think you had it rough? Try for not even being an American. At least you cannucks can just shout over the border and get answers.
That just got better and better. I especially like the forks-part. Must've taken a shitload of time to make, even though (because?) it's made to look as if it didn't.
just bought the bastard for my grandma and it WILL NOT remove vista no matter how hard I try. When I boot off the Windows XP CD it says 'cannot detect hard drive'.. How can I remove vista!??!?! is it even possible? Its like AIDS from an unwashed hooked. In all likelihood it is because the drive is on an unsupported bus, e.g. SATA. Usually the manufacturer supplies a program for making a driver floppy. If the computer does not have a floppy drive, you could make a slipstreamed CD (e.g. with nlite). That way, you can also add on service packs, hotfixes, and add the reg key and make the install completely unattended. nlite FTW. (Note: If you choose to use nlite, don't mess with settings you're not sure about, like removing built-in drivers, messing with services, stuff like that).
That's because when you "retransmit" a package, it's not the exact same package - it's a new package, really.
What we really should be worried about is why 'retransmitting' packages is so grossly mislabeled? Comcast clearly isn't at fault here. Who will think of the children?
True, Radiohead doesn't need to promote itself in the same way a smaller band/artist does to make money but this shows what can be done.
Imagine if half a dozen well-known bands/artists created a new music site where any music artist could join. Sell MP3s at a very low price and have a physical product at a reasonable cost where all the profit goes to the artists (less a small admin fee to help run the site).
Allow users to rate/review songs and albums. Sounds a smidgeon like Magnatune.
Could be because SF3 did not really have an impact. None that I recollect, anyway. SF2 is the one to go by, as that was their last achievement. (or, as remarked by AC below, series of achievements)
I think you have identified one of the main problems of "modern" GNU/Linux development. I haven't thought of it that way, really, so thank you for bringing up the point:)
Right now I'm in the market for a media player that can work with all of my OSes (Mac OS X, WinXP, Deb4, Fedora7). That way, I'd be set, both at home and at work.
You are probably right. I just remember iMovie kept telling me that there was an update, but every time I started Software Update, it reported 'All Software Up To Date, Please Sever Your Leg'.
I'm planning to buy both the OS and iLife in one go (save a few bucks on shipping, because I'm a tightwad), so until the OS is released, I'm... borrowing a very publicized serial number. The only consequence? They made Software Update blind to updates to iLife '08. That's it.

Then I might as well not go to /.

Would you bet on Soviet technology at an 80th the cost without having insurance?

The tasteless one.
Btw, re your sig, wouldn't it be morelike how many seconds?
Just use the "Classic" controller, you'll be all set.

Didn't submit one. I dread what Uwe has done to it, but I can't help but want to see it... :-)
The Postal Movie premiered today. Yay Uwe!
Got Intel, foo'! :)
Anyway, I'm not losing sleep over it. She'll be right in a few days.
I've noticed that an increasing number of mails get through the net at Gmail. Damned spammers. Am I the only one?
Huh? Where? Man, all I ever get are stupid Viagra spam and "O3M S0FTWARE!" (and variants thereupon).
Humpfh. Everyone gets pr0n spam but me.

Don't beat yourself up. On my Hotmail acct, I once got a incest-styled spam mailOfc, reported it to Save the Children, but I don't expect it to have made a difference anywhere (though one can hope).

Won't be an issue for long, though

Well, all I know off.
