Oh FFS. The fact that the touch bar doesn't have to have the escape key all the time doesn't mean the escape key is banned. When you're in Terminal, it'll be there right where your finger expects it to be.
The answer is software: Adobe CS, Microsoft Office, FCP, Garage Band etc etc etc. Also, if you are an iOS developer, Xcode.
Plus the machines are really nice. My nephew has a six year old MacBook Pro that was handed down from me to my brother and thence to him. It won't play the latest games and its disk now seems glacial compared to an SSD, but it's still absolutely fine for most things and it's still fully functional except it had the battery replaced at three years.
I had several of those and they always broke in the end. The modern mag safe adapter is the first Apple power cord I've owned that didn't eventually break.
Actually, I'm pretty sure that is where things are heading. Either the keyboard will become an extended touch bar or maybe each key will have a tiny display on it. I don't know how good the force feedback is, but if it can get to the point where you can type without looking at the keyboard, I'd definitely be for an extended touch bar.
I think Dash was driven by the terrible interface to the API documentation that is in Xcode. In particular, the search function sucked donkey balls.
Dash is an app that provides a far better interface to the Apple developer documentation than Apple does. They've also expanded it so that many other documentation sets are available and you can do searches across doc sets. So, for instance, I have the Xcode, Swift and Objective-C documentation. I also have the Java 8 API, bash, vim, Python etc etc etc documentation.
Dash is one of the most popular apps amongst developers of Mac OS and iOS software. I can't imagine the suspension will be allowed to continue for long.

Emacs users have more time for commenting on slashdot.
Because Emacs is more capable and much faster to use they finish their work quicker and get to relax and peruse idiot ramblings on slashdot while the vim users are still typing away.
Right, so if all the vim users are still finishing their work, who is writing the idiot ramblings on Slashdot?
Yes, I agree. I really don't see why all these users are complaining about bonus content. There are lots of people in the world that still have to pay for it!
That's not what "statistically significant" means. What it does mean is that the result is unlikely to happen by chance. If there have only ever been two fatalities while driving on autopilot, there really isn't enough data to be confident it's not a random cluster and so the number is not statistically significant.
In addition, the company may be looking to launch the successor to the Galaxy S7 ahead of schedule.
Yes, how did it work out for them last time they tried to rush a phone to market (ahead of the iPhone 7)? You'd think they would have learned a lesson from this.
But only Internet nerds care about "user serviceable". Most people like their ultra thin phones and don't care if the battery doesn't last for more than two years because they'll have a new phone by the time it dies.
It is not a fact. RMS can be calculated from the peak value of the mains voltage; e.g. in the USA is about 120 × 2, or about 170 volts.
This is incorrect. The 120V AC quoted for US domestic power supplies is the RMS voltage. The peak voltage can be calculated by multiplying that by the square root of 2. i.e. The peaks are about +170 and -170 volts. The equivalent DC voltage for the US mains (in power delivery) is 120V.

USB-C is just a mobile port, and will remain so for at least decades.
No it won't. Now Apple have dumped USB-A, everybody else will do the same. In five years, USB-C will be ubiquitous.

It's not a dongle anyway, it's a cable.
You can't say your Jeeps are literal life savers and then not tell the story about how they saved lives. We all want to know now.
To be fair Jeeps are shit.
So is recording a concert an activity or a state of being?
OK I guess it is possible that the Nat West Bank was gently reminded by the British government as to what the rules are.
All of those options are available to him. What makes you think they are not? Dash is a Mac application, not an iOS application.

False
Ah, no.

No she didn't. If she had done, he would be in prison now.

If Emacs is more capable than vi(m), why did they need to write a vi emulation plugin for it?
Yes, I agree. I really don't see why all these users are complaining about bonus content. There are lots of people in the world that still have to pay for it!
You mean boners content.
Nope.

The RPi is powered off a USB port. You could get away with an 8 port powered USB hub instead of 8 power supplies.
No what means the device is obviously faulty is catching fire.

There are already Android phones without headphone jacks. Apple is not the leader in this field.
All it will take is for the iPhone 7 to sell reasonably well and all manufacturers will be ditching the headphone jack as a way to cut costs.
