  1. Keep yer cool on Deliberation of "National Strategy to Secure Cyberspace" · · Score: 1, Insightful

The last thing these people need to hear are the psychotic ramblings of someone like RMS. Be polite and to the point, don't yell and scream about freedom and the GPL blah blah or you'll be passed off as a nutcase and lose for sure. Got it?

  2. oh really? on Indian Government Moves to Let Linux In · · Score: 1

More like no thank you. God when someone doesn't buy MS you act like its a huge act of defiance. Grow the fuck up will you? I give this thing about 18 months before it collapses.

  3. Could it be? on Linux in the Workplace · · Score: 1

These people think of their computers as a tool just to get work done and don't care what operating system it runs? You make linux out to be some fanatical cult thats the best thing in the world and all other OS's are garbage. Nice freedom of choice there, huh? Again, people don't care about such trivial things.

Don't just say no don't touch it. Explain to them it could blow their head off if they don't handle it properly. My parents did that with me and somehow I resisted the urge to play with a .357 in their closet. Teach them to respect guns and not fear them. That same logic goes for anything dangerous; animals, power tools, weapons, fireworks, you name it. Respect, not fear.

Since you seem to be in touch with all these extremists please enlighten us why you find joy in having your children exploding in an attempt to hurt others? Notice its nobody middle aged or even old, just young kids that have been tought all their lives to hate the US. Now thats fucked up, using your children as ammunition to fight your war.

    Waiting for your reply.

I hate to suggest this but 99% of all spam would stop is every ISP just blocked all outgoing traffic on port 25. Of course people will bitch about running their own servers blah blah but how many companies allow that? A few DSL providers and thats about all. Now some people could setup rogue servers to use a different port but most spammers aren't that smart.
