I once got locked from my bank account as I registered with a 14 character password which I spent some time memorizing.

Unfortunately after calling them up and resetting my account twice, I was informed that the system only allowed 10 character long passwords and they had not implemented any method of checking the length when you registered.

There was talk about funding coming from the TV license fee, why hasn't this happened, I would consider broadband to be more important than the digital tv switch over. Especially as most of the remote areas have trouble picking up terrestrial TV anyway.

Another rumour was of a new source engine, as far as I know valve has not yet ruled this out, so the surprise could be that portal 2 will be the first game on the new source engine? In the concept art that has been released you can see plants, and generally plants do not look very good in the current source engine, so I hope that a new engine is used otherwise this will look very dated.

I was wondering when something like this would be produced, as I thing it's design is the only true replacement for school books. Being a student myself I would defiantly consider getting one of the these devices. This easily weighs less than than the text books I have to carry for a mile to school everyday. Some people say that a laptop is more useful, but I really don't think it is. Have you ever attempted to do a-level maths in a word processor? You can't type maths. I honestly think this device would increase productivity. A feature I would like to see is handwriting recognition so you are able to search through your notes. So although this device still looks a bit clunky it is good to see that at least one company is heading down the right track.

When I was younger I used to buy a lot of used PC games, this was when the majority of games only needed a CD key to play. All you had to do was check the game came with the key you were away. As most of the second hand games were older titles, you couldn't by them in stores anyway, and if they game was good I would it would lead me to buying the sequel or another game by the same devs. Recently though it has become a lot more hit and miss buying PC games second hand as some games can be registered to Steam, or have some sort of online activation which stops second hand users. This is rarely advertised on the box though.
