Im sorry you dont like music, but it has had a huge impact and is representative of the human experience since we began making it.
Sure, people may have their priorities mixed up, but I bet I can find fault with your priorities too. To underestimate the power of human expression shows your true ignorance.
Youre argument is that there is better things to fight for and be learned of. Okay, that argument can almost ALWAYS be made. Whens it stop? When do you become enlightened enough to understand that right or wrong the everyday politics of this country do not bother some people and that does not make them wrong and you right.
People fight for what hits closest to home. Some people are able to look at the bigger picture, some aren't. Some confuse the bigger picture and sacrifice everything within themselves and at home for a chance to change the world.
I mean seriouslly. You think the "youth" are obsessed with music. Come on. What generation do you come from? DO you live in a shack?
Im sorry. We waste way too much time energy and money prolonging the lives of halfdead people.
So if a group wants to make it easier for THEM to prolong their lives, who cares. But noone should complain. The fire analogy is wrong. General safety in a society should be encouraged and given to the society as a whole. Artificial extension of life isn't a needed function and has little intrinsic benefits.
Northeast Ohio is home to a whole lot. Someone else mentioned Cedar Point. The football hall of fame is in Canton and the more geekish inventors hall of fame is in Akron. COSI, center of science and industry- a more kiddish museum is in Columbus. And both the Cleveland Zoo and the Columbus zoo are worldclass.
not to sound like an ass but not alot of people died relative to other disasters, et al nationally not alot of terrorism compared to mideast
more than should be? of course. but what else has happened since then? couple foiled plots.
terrorism is real and has always needed to be dealt with, and we finally find ourselves the victim. but our governments reaction is 100% overboard and politicians are using it as an excuse to get anything passed.
it is a hysterical witch hunt. what all has happend...who has been captured that is significant to fighting this so-called war? no one really, cause there is no one to catch. its a constant morphing threat. one that cant really be attacked too easily in a proactive way. no real leader
im sorry. you knew four firemen that died. theres firemen that die during regular fires too. they are known. police officers. school children. mothers killed by drunk drivers. people die. all the time. people kill. there was that one incident..... and what since? I seriouslly think whatever crap has been done to 'prevent' another attack could have been done without them stripping away all my rights and freedoms that they have.
i for one was disgusted with all the pseudopatriotism and pseudogrouplove after 9.11, it was so phony it wasn't even funny. lets all overreact.

because they showed them nothing
Give me a break, Microsoft only likes standards so they can be the one to extend and break them. They derive their power from lack of choice.
Are you an idiot? There are no real original ideas.

Boohoo. It takes more than looping a catchy RIFF to make a hit.
Sorry bud, using samples takes skills too.
There is little that hasn't been played before. And I highly doubt you are all that innovative. Deflate ego.
ummm okay, sure buddy. get over yourself.
spend your 3 bucks on your beer and 2.50 on your hotdog and call me in the morning.
Baseball would be the perfect sport to bring a laptop to. The games tend to be long with only pockets of excitment.
you underestimate the power of words to ignorant people
phrasing is everything
thats why people get paid big bucks to devise headlines commercials etc.
