It's because Abba are an embarrassing, cheesy group from the '70s/'80s.

And also the 4th most successful group of all time in terms of sales.

Oh and the movie based on their music "Mamma Mia" is the highest selling musical of all time and the highest selling film of all time in the UK when it was released. (Although since superceded by Toy Story 3 and Avatar)

Speaking from the other side of the pond, from what we can see Obama is doing a much better job and is a far more competent leader than old Dubya.

Despite the moronic cries of "OH NOES TEH SOCIALISM IS EVULZ!" from a lot of people especially online he seems to be doing a damn good job from where we stand (Europe) as far as we see it your entire country is still strongly right wing. Socialism works, well perhaps some of you should wake up and realise that.

Expanding on that I don't know anyone who thinks having a certain Mrs Palin as the head of the most powerful country on earth would be anything less than exceedingly dangerous.

Like Disney, the company is very dependant upon protecting their image as wholesome and family-friendly now

Yet explain how a Disney subsidiary green-lit Kill Bill.

I would have thought that was obvious, Miramax was bought by Disney in 1993 in order to allow them to release more adult orientated films without hurting their brand. A disney subsidiary green lit Kill Bill precisely because it was a subsidiary and not the main brand.
