Successful troll is successful. But what's next? Am I the only person here who is concerned that these acts will be used as ammunition by politicians to push their agendas for eliminating net neutrality?
The phrase "Google it" is used in common society as well, but who knows where the search engine giant will be 50 years from now?
Yes, it's a dictionary word, but one nice thing about these news institutions is that they provide a central archive of history and major events. Tweet is far more obscure and should be considered no different. Stick to professional language, please.
Of course, if somebody from the future looks back at newspapers from this time, they'll think that people like Lindsay Lohan were at the top of world-wide Monarchy....but that's beside the point.
Seriously, IE is going to be the default browser for a lot of people. A lot of IE users will look at Chrome and say "bleck". Firefox users, on the other hand, are more open to experimentation. Thus, I think this is going to affect Firefox's market share more than anything else.
You're not alone. I mean, if they had used McCain's middle name, it *might* have sounded a bit less biased, but seriously -- it's like you're emphasizing the fact that his middle name is Hussein (which is not a bad thing -- it just instills fear in the uninformed).
I'm not blind, but because I was cross-eyed for many years before I had corrective surgery, my brain tends to focus out of one eye primarily. My stereoscopic vision is quite limited, thus reducing depth perception and making it nearly impossible to see using those 3D glasses.
I remember staring at those Magic Eye posters for hours, frustrated that all the other kids could see dolphins and ships and stuff, while all I saw was a bunch of weird looking colors.
Thanks to the wonders of a college class on Visual Perception, I now understand why. Mod this "+5, Woe is me"?
Drupal et al make life a whole lot easier when it comes to updating a website and adding content. But what about the design?
Unless you want to stick to the default Drupal (or insert CMS here) themes, you'll probably want to design your own CMS template so people get a unique feel for your website. You'll still need to fall back on your classic static web-design skills using programs like Dreamweaver (or notepad).
Dreamweaver isn't dying, it's just falling into a more specialized category now. If you just used Dreamweaver as a way to update content, then you were really failing to use the program to it's full potential.
what's truly amazing is that the toddler was also apparently able to read, understand, and accept Windows Live's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Okay, a 4 1/2 year old child is not a toddler. That is a kid. A young kid, yes, but they are capable of reasoning and adaptation. Hell, my two year old is starting to learn how to use the mouse -- think what a 4.5 year old could do!

Can I have some sex drugs? Sounds like Soma or Viagra.
In other news, Slashdot doesn't use commas in their titles.
When life gives you limes...
...make frostwire!
A truly sad day indeed.

"I use Linux! ACKNOWLEDGE ME!! ACKNOWLEDGE ME!!" And yes, I do use Linux. So I'd appreciate it if somebody could mod this up so I feel acknowledged.
"Programming" is to "Mouse" as "Can of worms" is to "Open"

I did not know that. So, all those hilarious comments I leave to get me karma are for nothing?
Damn, now I have to find some intelligent stuff to plagiarize.
I suggest creating a facebook group and tying a coloured ribbon around the antennae of your car. This is what we do in Canada.
Modded insightful? No offense, but how is this insightful? I find it more humorous or ironic than Insightful.
Not saying it shouldn't be modded up, just the "insightful part".
A political party is worthless if it doesn't have any card-carrying members in office
Look at the Canadian Green party.
Worst working conditions I've ever had to code in. Then again, never coded after that. Changed majors to English and never looked back.
Wow. I got this joke immediately. I feel uber-geeky.
I read most of this book while commuting to work each morning. I blushed.
Hey, I'm just stirring the shit so that its the proper consistency when it hits the fan.
Also note my crafty and subtle way of injecting a socialist point into my comment when the parent actually didn't mention the word "socialism".
Crafty indeed. Socialism + me 4evR!
Ah yes, a story about Google Street view and an article with no mention of guns gets turned into an anti-socialist, pro-gun debate.
Kuddos to your crafty (yet really quite subtle) way of getting your point across while staying on topic.

It's like what used to apply to the Star Trek movies. The odd-numbered movies sucked V'ger, whereas the even-numbered movies rocked Kahn-style.
And then Star Trek: Nemesis happened. Let's hope Windows 7 is not the equivalent of Star Trek 10.

This is just the beginning. Next thing we know, we'll be seeing WMDs with Apple logos on them. I see it now: the iBomb (tm)
