I don't read his tweets. I don't Twitter at all. My complaint is that whenever President Trump writes anything in Twitter, all proper news reporting and editorial news filtering is brought to its knees and all of the media here in the US rabidly echo the tweet, an analysis of the tweet, multiple interviews with politicians about the tweet, on and on ad infinitum.
Meanwhile, real events around the world are completely ignored by the US news media. To use a term from the old newspaper days, none of the Tweets from President Trump should be in the "A" section at all.
Oh yeah, right. Like if the POTUS can't post on Twitter he'll have no way to communicate with the nation. So taking away his Twitter account would "silence" Donald Trump.
I played around with this a couple of years ago and it didn't work for me. The browser would freeze while it awaited response from the blocked domain. What did I do wrong?
There's no reason to expect any correlation between intelligence and a skill - any skill. These people might be shocked to learn that there are quite a few very highly intelligent people who can't fly fish, either.
News used to be stories about what has happened - events - and what it might mean. IOW, stuff you didn't already know. Today "news" is about what people are talking about because those things generate more clicks. Thus the top "news story" on the NBC News website atm is about a Trump approval survey rating drop and events in Catalonia are reduced to a sidebar.
News headlines used to be written to inform in a condensed manner. Now a "news" headline is a riddle to entice you to click.
"News" today is very different from what it used to be a few decades ago, and I don't envision it changing for the better.
And now for a list of other things I don't like...
In the keyboard world the "states" you refer to are called layers. There are programmable keyboards, which allow you to move things around which are already on the keyboard, and fully programmable keyboards which allow you to not only rearrange the layout but also add keys/functions which aren't in the original layout. Soarer's also allows - I can't remember how many - layers. So you can have, for example, a qwerty keyboard and press a key or combo of keys and switch to a layer programmed with a dvorak layout and back.
I've added two Windows keys to my old IBM terminal keyboard, one each for the right and left half, moved the ESC key, added Print Screen, Scroll Lock, Pause, volume control keys and... I think that's it.
The Soarer's is a hardware mod and requires access to the wires - either at the cable-end plug, in the case of an external converter, or you can put it inside the keyboard as I've done with this old beast. You're only working with four wires but it would be problematic to hook up to a laptop keyboard.
The old terminal keyboards can often be found pretty cheap because they won't work on modern computers. If you search for "Soarer's converter" you'll find info on a converter which can be made for easily under $25 and will bring these old terminal keyboards like mine into the 21st Century with USB communication and full programmability.
So I'm supposed to believe that all of the engineers at Google can't figure out how to adjust the sensitivity of this sensor. I think it's far more likely that they simply got caught.
I think that one is my favorite, also. I like female protagonists and this book has one of the best. And, for female protagonists, book one of The Bridge Trilogy (can't remember the title) is another very good one.
I've only done one return to Amazon, a wrong model phone. The return was free for me. I just had to go to a UPS place instead of a Kohls to ship it off. What returns are not free?
This is the second lawsuit I've read about in the last couple of days which just amounts to, "It's not as good as I thought it was". Are consumers today really so ignorant they just purchase without research and then expect someone to bail them out if they're not satisfied?
And... my Grado headphones are great, btw. Not wireless, though.
Not getting paid, er, when and by who? Look, I have a stack of books around here, all of which I bought used. The authors don't get paid - again - when I pick up one from the stack and read it. Why do you people in the music industry think you are so much more special than other artists?
What crackdown on torrent sites? What did I miss? I got fed up with the neighbors calling to complain about the smell whenever I was watching a Peter Capaldi episode of Doctor Who so I haven't torrented anything in a while.
It's not really a trackpad but instead a fingerprint reader which also recognizes just two rudimentary gestures - touch for home button, touch & hold for fingerprint reader, swipe left to go back and swipe right for recent apps. But, still, I like that in normal use I don't need to wear out a physical button. Something else will break, anyway, I suppose.
If you want to know what God thinks of money, just take a look at who he gives it to.
I agree. Zuckerberg might be OCD about his "public perception" but I'm sure not. Why is this here?
So Apple want me to use the same passcode for both my phone access and my medical records? There's no way I'd even consider doing that.
That's nice but if the carriers disable it (I'm looking at you, Verizon) what's the point?

Christ, I only wish it were so.

Without some type of rules or regulations you haven't even defined what a "bad actor" is.
Other gatherings should just call themselves Comic McConface.
Gawd no! And btw "Priyanka Chopra" sounds like an exotic fish meal I'd order in a fancy restaurant.

As opposed to endangering only half a ship, I guess...

Yep, I agree. I'm typing this on an IBM 122 key Model F made in 1985. More than eight pounds of clicky goodness.

Like they, or any website, are going to say, "Hey, this is enough money per month. Let's just stop here". Yeah, right.

Yeah, that'll teach 'em.
