The American Medical Association urged the FDA to tattoo a warning label on the forehead of all elected federal officials that states 'Listening to this individuals' logic has been linked to violent and aggressive behavior towards others.'
To get them to start a record on you.
Begin record: "Subject requests non-existent record of self, begin monitoring immediately after non-record is given."
The converter boxes aren't that expensive, about as much as a new game, sure it sucks to be forced to buy new equipment but there are other things one can do besides watch TV if they are so unwilling to suffer the cost of the boxes.
Unless you are a big sports fan, pay-TV really has nothing extra to offer. The combination of broadband, terrestrial TV and Netflix has been better for me than cable ever was.
Back on topic: We already saw MSFT moving towards this pay to use model earlier, no one should be surprised they are trying to push it further. Just like no one should be surprised when people sign up in droves, then bitch about the price while continuing to pay.
Wouldn't the usage of the Wii's motion controls be an example of physical immersion? Also people who buy Wiis play more often with people in the same room, not across a connection.
Are these images just certain formats or is it always some random image.
Personally I'm glad that I have no need for formulas in Word or OOO, making formulas never was a bright spot for Word and I haven't needed to try it in OOO.
I have been able to stream to my 360 from my Ubuntu box, but haven't seen anything on boxee. So are you able to stream CNN and youtube videos from boxee onto the 360 or is it media that you already have on hand?
I haven't seen that. Each state is different, some are better than others. None are as bad as the Federal government however.
What about the recent 3 propositions banning gay marriage in 3 states that all passed? Granted I know one was a citizens initiative but it just shows that the more people involved only leads to more cock-ups, and involving all the senators and representatives would be hugely difficult.
I think in the case of libraries they have deals with the publishers on what they get and how many copies. Which is part of the reason the library doesn't have a full music catalog. The great part about CDs from the library is you can legally make a digital copy of them, just once though I believe; bitch to find a non-scratched CD though, usually takes me three or four copies.
Really it isn't. I've recently been trying to figure out how to make Public Schools more like the Post Office, i.e. not operating in the red, and the answer I keep circling back to is advertising. Are there better ways? Maybe, but I can't think of any. And no, I don't mean full on advertising like blaring announcements between classes with videos to boot, but maybe corporate funded text books, yes I know historically they are inaccurate, that only allow for example problems to use their product/brand.
Depends on your view of perpetual Grad school.

Solenodons On a Plane! Hmmm, doesn't have quite the same ring.
Yeah... and cable television will always be uncensored and commercial free... and satellite radio will always be uncensored and commercial free...
I have had only limited experience with satellite radio, it has ads now? If so that didn't take long at all.

I don't see why anyone would pay the fee, just remove it yourself.
If I have cable, and can see the ads, then the change DOESN'T AFFECT ME.
Only if all your TVs are hooked up to cable; something I discovered is not always the case due to an informative PBS transition special.

How did you manage to rip/save Hulu and CBS videos? I've tried searching for how-to's but keep coming up with nothing.
Actually since Amazon is responsible for collecting the tax and they ship via wholly licensed subsidiaries you don't have to pay sales tax.

I am tired of hearing the word 'sheeple', people I implore you, use it no more.

It begins here.
Anyone who is going to email her should also do so before she leaves in '09, not after.
I like to sign my instructors up for SPAM, but whatever works.

Shhh! Be quiet, don't you want faster internet?

I believe we've all seen that the states are no more capable of doing anything right, not that I'm saying the Feds can.

Zero. Pepsis aren't refreshing.
Like Fox "news" isn't having a field day already with Obama elected.
