I was looking around for a floppy today because I wanted to make a boot disk, and I realised that, not only did I not have one, I also didn't know where I could get one, or even when the last time I've seen one was...
As far as I know, gmail doesn't let you send emails to yourself- spam filter or not.
Actually it does, I do this quite often with attached files to send files from one computer to another. Its faster than attaching it to a draft and saving it.
As if a prediction is only correct if it doesn't miss a single detail. I have always seen Neuromancer as the perfect prediction of the future of technology.
How can it be a perfect prediction if it misses details? The first sentence invalidates the second one.
VR is one of them
The 90s called... they want their.. agh, I can't even be bothered. VR is a perfect example. Its one of those things that seemed great until it became a reality, and then no-one gave a shit.

While DivX is hardly the codec of choice for encoding MPEG-4 ASP for sharing online in.avi files, it has created a recognisable symbol and set of guidelines for various boxes, from DVD players to PVRs to games consoles, to make use of and to show they support this format. If this development means that new boxes like these add support for the Matroska container and H.264 as part of getting to put that little 'DivX Certified' logo on the front, then maybe that does actually mean something.
Does anyone else think WGA sounds like some kind of Japanese Soap Brand?

trying to cp *.mp3 /dev/sdb1 multiple times and wondering why it wouldn't play the files
You were trying to do *what* to an iPod?!
