Most I've seen either don't specify or say either PDF or plain text only. My guess (and it is just a guess) is I've seen less than 10% (maybe a lot less) ask for Word specifically.
Case in point, about 10 years ago I had a friend who worked for a School for the Blind (they had more than just blind kids there at the time) and they set up a network using off the shelf components from a local (big name) electronics store. Though each machine worked fine on it's own, they couldn't get anything to work on the network. After hours of trying different things out they found out every single network card they bought had exactly the same MAC address. As soon as they returned them and went to a different store for the network cards everything worked perfectly.
And when registering my cable modem through Comcast's strange process which normally uses your MAC address (usually from your router) after I replaced the modem (when it went bad) I had to call support because it wasn't working (and the error wasn't very useful). The problem? The MAC address I was trying to use was already in use by another customer about 25 miles away. So I cloned my other computer's MAC address (now that I knew what the problem was) and had no more issues.
Actually, that brings up a good point. If you are talking about end users, I believe it becomes silly to ask if it's moral or not. To each their own and all. But what if you are talking about the parents of said 'end user' making that choice?
Why buy the 3D TV if you're just going to turn it off then? Seems rather wasteful. Of course, if it was the same price, you might as well get it, but I'm assuming it will be an optional 'extra' for a little while yet.
If a pair is available. How many pairs do you get with the TV? If you have roommates who generally watch their own TVs, or friends who only come over infrequently, will you have enough glasses for them? Can you be sure someone won't misplace one or more pairs of them? I'm certain pretty much every time we used them one of them would go missing (my wife seems to like finding new places to hide things (completely unconsciously of course)) so I'll probably never get one myself, though I'd like one.

Boy am I glad I don't work for you. While metaprogramming certainly isn't right for every case, it is literally perfect for some. Best tool for the job, and all.
What if they went on to do this same stuff for others afterward? Maybe that's why they granted leniency to Madoff in exchange for helping nap these guys? Otherwise that part just sounds quite odd. Though that just makes you wonder who else is doing the same thing that we haven't heard about. tl;dr
I hear you. I think the plaintiff in this case would be surprised to hear that I once had a class of high school freshman (including myself) using saws like that all year long and not one of use required medical attention!
If you could do that it would cripple civil lawsuits. Then we'd have to make even more things criminal to deter people so they could be punished (by throwing them in jail, which you can't do with a civil lawsuit).
And here I thought you were going to bring up the insanity that is timecube.com (something about children dying to bring their adult forms to life, which was the most coherent part of that website, which isn't saying much).
...Right now you are bringing in more money than they are paying you. Hence your employment. If that wasn't the case you wouldn't be there. And if the penalty for murder was less steep, the odds of getting caught smaller, and if there was a pig food shortage - you'd be screwed...
Don't forget nepotism. He might actually be hurting the company with his presence for all you know.;^)
What are doing out of formation soldier!
I think it might be a severe head injury rather than drugs in this case. Not as much fun.
I guess I could stay here in Oregon for $450k/year. Wait, what were we bidding on again?
Very interesting. Especially since the store in Question was a Fry's...

Yeah, I can not deliver that for a mere $200k/year, within, say 15 years? Anyone care to overbid me? That is how a contract like this works, isn't it?

Why should it ever end? Does progress have a single predefined 'end point'?
Of course he doesn't remember, because he hasn't said it yet.
Passion doesn't imply ability.
I've had it with these motherfucking bugs on these motherfucking browsers!
Read the thread! I can't be bothered to read something before commenting. This. Is. SLAAAAASHDOT!

That's what I was thinking when I read it, so I'm curious if that's the case.
Like that AC will ever reproduce. They're a Darwin award waiting to happen.
OP's statement is absurd. In the USA they have much more obscure interpretation of the laws when it comes to networks.
No, we just have some of the best idiots. Or the worst, take your pick.
