To my jijnd, ocne you start adding too much animation to the comic you are creating a cartoon/animation. I would expect a digital comic to be more interesting by allowing user interaction - maybe picking your own plot or ending... soemthing like the following perhaps? http://micomicsnet.rzero.com/cyop/
BBC DIgital often has multi-audio channel for sports - with TV commentray and local and national radio commentary often avilable (interesting for matches like Wale3s vs England rugby where you can listen to English or Welsh commentators!). They may not have drubnken hooligan soundracks yet, but if you swithc on the ref's mike you oftne hear interesting commentary from the players;-) Also, you can turn off the commentary completely and watch the matches as if you were there....:-)
...it's a little known fact but 10% of the world's deforestation is caused by the amount of paperwork associated with launching satellites to study...deforestation!
I'm hardly an expert, but I thought the purpose of the tiles wasn't to simply survive heat but to prevent its conduction. Can you take a modern alloy of similar weight and thickness, heat one side with a torch and hold your hand on the other? Then you have a fair argument.
In that case, why don't they put the heat tiles on the inside of the shuttle - then they woulnd't keep dropping off...;-)
I have all my passwords on posters around my office in stereogram form. The only trouble is my office mate often spends hours sitting at his desk with his eyes glazed over and I don't know if he's just zoned out or if he's tryiong to steal my passwords!
..and unless the song is an instrumental just look up "lyrics" and "...a phrase from the song..." on Google or your favouriteb search engine and you'll get the song name from one of 100s of lyrics sites... !!
(If you were a physicist) you'd probably also have nothing better to do on a Saturday night than stay home alone watching the Eurovision song contest;-)
Somebody enlighten me. Is there any use in knowing Pi to 2 billion decimal places (or even just a few hundred!) Do we hope to find a hidden message, or make the world's most accurate circle, or is it just because we can calculate it? And how do you check for errors?
But you guys can't have it both ways-- if you block the ads through your browser or your host list, you can't expect free content forever. That's why i don't use anything (other than a popup blocker, of course) to prohibit ads. They are what allow us to consume "free" content.
And exactly how do they tell that you are blocking ads and I am not? Unless you are actively reading those ads, follwing the links and then buying something! then there is really not much difference between you and me as fas as the seller is concerned - except you just used some of his bandwidth;-)
Besdies which, even if I do keep the ads on display, most sites advertise stuff which I can't buy outside the US anyway - so they're wasting their time with me and other non-USA-dwelling netizens.
Perhaps they should get together with the battery life extender nanotech guys (http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=05/01/28 /03192 39&tid=126&tid=100&tid=137&tid=1) and make a battery that you charge up once for two minutes and it runs for the lifetime of the battery or yourself (which ever is longer)...
Why is the text input widget so short? That's a real pain when searching for phrases. Why do so mnay sites these days insist on making fixed sized frames/widgets/etc. ratehr than let me expand the windows to make use of my screen.

America broke off from Europe 200 some odd years ago.
;-)
More like 60 million years ago wasn't it

At least C3PO won't be alone:
bender, n. Brit. slang, a male homosexual
And you thought he got his name from bending bars? jeez - the guy actually lives in a closet !!!
Perhaps we can print some bacterial colonies in classic LIFE patterson then let thenm breed and see how well it replciates the old computer game :-)
1.locate an old cardboard box
2.cut away one side for your hands
3.place over keyboard
4.start to type

The Shining is only tenuously linked with the book.
;-)
2001 was a film before it was a book.
So only the Godfather remaisn to prove your point. Perhaps you should have picked Gone With The Wind and The Wizard of Oz instead

...and only in the US would describing a newspaper as "liberal" be reagrded as a criticism!
Lucky for you it's a boolean, and not an integer!
Mine's not integer - mine's real!
So you're saying PG stands for Puerile Garbage?

Shouldn't that be "torched the documents" ?
(Or for our American readers - New Delhi, India.)
How long until someone packages and sells a DIY Dam & Hydroelectric Cell Charging kit?
Coming to a store near you, my soon-to-be-patented portable hydrolectric phone charger. Consists of one water powered turbine and a six-pack of Bud.
