Sorry, but that wont be possible. From the faq:
"Kickstarter is for projects that can be completed, not things that require maintenance to exist. This means no e-commerce sites, web businesses, or social networking sites. (Yes, this means Kickstarter wouldn’t be allowed on Kickstarter. Funny, but true.)"
I have'nt tried Sword&sworcery yet, but all the other games in this pack are among the best indie games out there. Psychonauts is one of my favorite games ever, Limbo and Amnesia are great horror titles and bastion is a hack-n-slash game with a good story and a narrator that discusses everything you do while you do it, which is quite funny.
But how long would it take to destabalize the network to the point of destroying it? An hour? A day? A minute? Buying the computation time from supercomputers for a short timespan should be low compared to the value of the entire network.
This is my single biggest complaint too. Is there a way I can always expand a comment without going to a new page? The last few months, it has seemed random whether or not this is possible on a story to story basis. Very frustating. Is this a bug? Windows 7 x64 and FF 3.6.13 got noscript, autopager, tabkit, firegestures and adblock plus
I'll bet we see a CSI episode coming up where someone mounts a pistol to one, shoots someone, then flies it into a fast-moving river. Oh great... now we can't have remote control toys anymore.
Of course Steam is the biggest seller of games online, but I doubt they have sold more games in a week then other retailers in a whole half year if you include ordinary stores. It seem they dont release sold units numbers, so it may be hard to compare. Do anyone know how large they are compared to other retailers?
Interesting to know, but note that GP were only talking about regional cooling, and the resulting clouds that might decrease the output from the panels. A solution would be to spread the panels over a larger area.
Exactly. Good streaming options is the only thing making me not just downloading the music, because good streaming options are not yet available for pirates. If utorrent or similar gains streaming abilitys and can linkify the content and information about the music/movies, as it is in spotify, it will bypass their block on legal streaming. And if these companies dont have any similar good streaming options before that happens, I think they will lose out on alot of this market and have a hard time regaining it.
The following StarCraft bugs/tricks are permitted:
1. Plague on interceptor
2. Units pressed through
3. Drops to defuse mines
4. Mineral walk
5. Manner Pylon
6. Lurker hold position
7. Observer over turret
8. Stacking air units
All other bugs/exploits are forbidden. Bots caught attempted these exploits will be disqualified. This includes but is not limit to:
1. Flying drones and templars
2. Terran sliding buildings
3. Stacking ground units
4. Allied mines
5. Gas walk, to get through blocked entrances or ramps
A player could feel more satisfied if it plays against a computer with the same knowledge and resources as a human player, because then it would have to play more like a human. With such cheats, the player will feel annoyed that the computer always attack when he is the weakest, without real knowledge, or can attack with twise the units he know is the maximum at a given time.
Well it depends on what you call a rush. If you compare a game like starcraft to AoE2, a zergling rush would be like a drush and ignoring feudal. As far as I know this is easily countered. The more reasonable rush in AoE2 is feudal rush, and thats more like 10 min into the game, and will not kill of the player directly. He would rather die when rams come out in castle at 15-20 min. Compare this to a zergling rush where a player can be killed in the first few minutes.
Sad thing the nukes are so underpowered in pro starcraft that they are only used as a humiliation. I hope nukes and other superweapons are better balanced in SC2.
Randomness is an obvious counter to this. So even before the AI knows anything about its opponent, it should cast a dice and rush fast at some percent of games as not to be predictable.
I wonder if the bots will have any restrictions on apm and such. I could imagine the terror of trying to defend against 10 individually controlled mutalisks harrasing all my expansions at the same time, from all directions. And without any long-range trapping mechanism, or fast air-to-air unit, there is no way to catch them. And if I need cannons or turrets or units at all angles of attack, I will certainly lose the macro battle.
Theres some more info at http://torrentfreak.com/google-removes-pirate-bay-frontpage-from-search-results-091002/. Including thepiratebay in a DMCA complaint seem to just be a mistake from some companies part.
For a single person a CD-R sure could include all the songs he/she felt relevant at the moment. I was thinking more of having a disc with so much music of different types that it could be handed to pretty much anyone in the world, and most would think it would fill their music needs. At 5TB and about one million tracks, its at least aproaching this.
But is that specific to your cheap collective deal, or for all Bredbandsbolaget connections? I haven't had Bredbandsbolaget, but two of the other big providers, Telia and Comhem. If there was a cap, it was at least larger than the 500+ GB I've used per month, so I can't see why Bredbandsbolaget would have just a 100GB cap.
But the mere fact that one side does robocalling would be a big minus for me. Whether or not there are also joe-jobbing should be ignored, and if unsure you could check if they really do robocalls. Im not from america, how much robocalling where there prior to this rule change?
What kind of 20,000 student university still uses just a 100mbit line (or even less)? I'll go ahead and assume its not a technology oriented one. At my university there is a similar opt in if you need to use more than 60GB/month.
There are already alternatives like the one you mention, just buy a company type ADSL line. If you want a whole 3Mb/s garanteed however, it will cost you way more than you would like to pay for a home line. If the rates where unchanged, the garanteed speed would more likely be around 1% of peak speeds.

Have had 1000/100 available in my last three apartments. 55$/month currently, basic cable and phone included. A benefit of living in sweden :D
Have had it in my last few apartments as well in sweden. 60$/month atm.

Last I checked, Canada was not a state of the US. Am from Sweden too, unlimited 100/100+tv+phone+mobile internet for 45$ :)
15GB limit? Thats like what, a few hours of HQ youtube? Am using upwards of a TB a month, and would be really sad if they had placed any kind of cap.

The article say they can reach heights of 20,000ft, so unless you can target them when they lift or land, you'll need millitary stuff.

Soon I may put all relevant music ever made onto a single disk. Internet filters wont have much effect then.
