This is taking forever, the longer SCO drags this out, the more companies will be afraid of using Linux. When does this cross the line of being a lawsuit, to being racketeering? Am I being unreasonable? When they first went to court, why didn't SCO just put all the cards on the table? Is it because they don't have any cards to show?
seriously though, balance out your life and your work, never forget which is more important. I work in software dev, and 8 months ago I was asked if I wanted to go to client sites to do install/implementations, I told em no. I have a family, and make that the priority. other coworkers said yes, and they're getting stuck 1000 miles away from their families for a weeks straight. F that, what's it worth? one of them only did it to look like a 'team player', but they pay me better and give me new opportunities in response to my skills, not how much of my time I'll forfeight.
again, balance, and deciede what your priorities are. a hobby, not tech related, is also recommended. "Don't take life too seriously, you'll never get out of it alive!" - Bugs Bunny
I've been running Postfix for 8 months now, and I much, much prefer it to my life of running Sendmail for the previous 2 years. Anyway, I've been running Postfix, it has worked perfectly for me, and my 8 other mail users, and I have kept up to date on all/any security patches. Is there any compelling reason for me to upgrade? If the newer one is faster, more effiecent, that's great, but for a small server like mine I'm not sure if I'm even going to notice.
that's a spicy meatball! in all seriousness, how long until this is priced and packaged to sell in an OEM enviroment? until they can deliever on an enterprise level they will only remain a favorite of hobbists.
seriously, when I listen to stations there's pauses sometimes, buffering catchups I guess. that wouldn't be very good if you were trying to rip it, or does the app cover that? I didn't see it mentioned on their site.
it's a bit late for April fools jokes, don't ya think? Is this true, now we can figure out that crappy song on the radios name? Fantastic. As usual, no cure for cancer.
Fine, but can you name another President that wasn't in DC for almost 20% of his presidency? http://lefttochance.com/taxonomy/page/or/12 So we won't call it a vacation, but why doesn't he stay in DC?

thanks, that site does rock, hurah for top level domains! this one is a classic:
04.11.2004: White House Releases President Bush's Personal Copy of Declassified Daily Intelligence Briefing for August 6th, 2001: "I know the American people will agree I did the right thing, when after reading that ridiculously vague memo filled with specific references to an al Qaeda attack, I promptly skipped town for thirty fun-filled days of golf, jogging, and naps!"
I'm confused, usually there's some long review of a book, followed by the FP! and GNAA posts, along with the 'cheaper at Amazon' links. This thread is different, at least for the time being.
so, is *any* IM conversation bound by this? who's to know if you're talking on IRC and have the "log all conversations" box checked, you'd be breaking the law if someone was in that channel was chatting from that state; regardless of if you were even talking *to* that person.

The New Pornographers "Letter From An Occupant". Great band, saw them last year down here in Austin. Both of their cds are favorites, and the most recent made my top 10 of 2003. Nice to see others enjoying them, it's pop rock the way it should be.

I have an old Dimension 166 running in my garage, it's currently acting as the mp3/ogg player, and internet radio streamer. I'm planning on getting a larger hardrive for it and make it backup all boxes on the network each night. It's running a Netgear wireless card too, so no wiring was needed.

good one, those ads are so lame; as if with all of his customizing and such he'd shop at such a general store.
plus, what's with the hat being pulled so far down? does he think it looks tough? pffff, I'd beat him down if he got in my face.

does anyone remember Miner 2049er? I think it was by Brouderbund - played it on old 1Mhz Apple //e.
