I occasionally take the Montreal-Magog bus in Quebec. This is a 90 minutes ride, mostly highway. Still, the bus has access to the Internet through free wifi. It's especially good considering most of the ride is through rural areas.
A cat might not be able to do rm -rf but I heard of a ferret able to press the delete key and the enter on a Windows box. The recycled bin saved the day but the fact is a ferret was able to delete a file by running on a keyboard.
Just a side-note here. I'm from Canada and more specifically the province of Quebec. Radio-Canada (the French speaking side of the CBC) is really popular here. It is still state-run and one of only 2 general programming station. There's a 3rd one called V but it doesn't really count.
Furthermore, there's still cultural content so it still has a mission. The fact that many French-speaking Quebequers speak little or no English really shields from the domination of the US in content and channels.
Many teachers did this at my university. The difference was that it was printed at the university with minimum/no cover/binding. The price was minimal because everything was made cheap and there wasn't a supply chain involved. Everybody wins!
Some content is not accessible to me. It happened today with some "Penn says" videos. I am getting over it easily and I won't miss paying content either.
At least in Québec. The rule (in Québec) to be a car is to have 4 wheels or more. The T-Rex for example is considered a motorcycle even though you can drive it with a car driver license (class 5).
We could do it like in the old days. When I first signed up for Internet access in 1996, my ISP game me a floppy with a browser (Netscape 1.2, I think). They didn't assumed you had a browser or the proper drivers to go on the net. They provided everything. An OS shouldn't be expected to have everything you need, that's why downloads exists.
The first hack for those fridges should be a power hog : a fridge that tries to steal as much power as possible from the other fridges. In any cooperative, some will try not to cooperate.
Pennsylvania common law (1) - Invasion of Privacy
(1) footnote reads: "Should discovery disclose that the Defendants are in possession of images constituting child pornography [...]
Why possession? If they viewed naked children, especially on purpose, they should get child pornography charges. Proving it might be hard though.

Check this story. It's a rumor, for now...

That's what I thought of all the car and bank subsidies. What's your point? At least, Tesla car are better for the environment.
What about product placement? More viewings (whatever the medium) = more potential revenue for the advertisers.
I read this a while ago.
This is pretty similar.
Skynet already exists. See this one for example. I became aware of them when they showed up in my list of access point. Quite strange the first time.

Got any good cat recipe?
There's a French variation on this one. The word parliament (parlement in French) is self-explanatory: parle - ment.
The story was done in the Netherlands. 'Nuff said.
Parrot is already at version 1.0 ...
I actually saw one once. It even was the right model. Now I can say I drove faster than K.I.T.T. with my old Mazda :-P

I have no clue if your claims are realistic but you should realise that 17 out of 32 is more (proportionally) than 17 out of 50.
Just my 2 cents.
Have you seen the male one?

Stockholm already have an old (17th century) warship near the harbour. Look at the Vasa museum.
Please correct the summary. It is a Foucault pendulum not Foucalt.

Please tell me: how big of a market are costumers? Are we talking Halloween parties, movies or some other kind of costumers?
