i was going to email you, but your email address is hidden on/.
i too live in NZ where it's legal to distill vodka;)..... would you be willing to email me your pics of the build? the websites out there just aren't doing it for me.
I doubt the quality has changed dramatically since then; it's just that the market has evolved and moved on. I recall reading some article that said the vodka market was growing at 300% per year, and was by far the fastest growing sector of distilled liquors. It's no wonder Absolut has fallen behind the times.
Sounds like they ran across a show stopping bug in the final test run to me.
Yeah. Like the fact that the online multiplayer functionality wasn't working. My prediction: Japan gets GT4: Offline edition, and an online addition in March. The US simply gets GT4: online edition in march, because they know nobody will buy GT4 twice.
Half Life 2 version 1.2.3c will have a "bug" that allows you to install without steam verification, a bug that will never be fixed. Version 1.2.3c will come out exactly two months after Half Life 2 is old news and the people who would have pirated it will have already pirated it. Almost every game picks this "bug" up near the end of life. Game updates/patches circulate about the net forever, so you don't have to worry about this when you go back to play older games.
Ever seen one of those emergency aluminized mylar "blankets"? They're only a couple of microns thick, providing about zero insulation value, but their primary purpose being to reflect infra red light back to the user. Anywho, the point being that even though there's paint on the outside of the AOL discs, they would still adequately reflect heat away from the house (or at least better than those dark grey/black shingles used by most people). In the winter, the shiney side would reflect head back towards the house.
video lan client has a great codec for wmv - no problemo. it's what the free MS video editing software saves as for a file anyways. either way, an mp4 format would have been nice.
Exactly! I mean, I've been known to toss my passport in the microwave with my easy mac from time to time - if that RFID tag gets toasted, it's not my fault!
I haven't been there in about six years, but there's a pretty good new-growth forrest there; I would assume it's grown since I was there last. But it's still not a significant fire hazard. I agree with all other comments though.

I've only had my gmail account since July, but as of today I've hit the 10% mark, and I don't even send that much email - 99% of it is slashdot, livejournal or other bulliten board reply notifications - maybe 10 a day, and the occasional 2MB digicam pic from the long distance girlfriend.
Hopefully if my usage trend continues, there should be 100 GB accounts for everyone before my account completely fills up in 5 years here.
I think you're having delusions of grandeur...

Sounds like you'll be able to play GBA/DS games online with friends from your living room couch, via your home wireless router, via the Mario Net service, ala X Box Live.
You _MAY_ be able to access the Mario Net from places like starbucks and airports, but it's likely it'll simply start from home and expand from there.
and some of us bought preorders for GT4 over a year before it's release, albiet unwittingly. 14 months and counting....

The CD key for single player or LAN (not WAN) is GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. Enjoy.
I was about to say you whine too much, but then I read your user name ;)
If you really want to play a game, you'd go through the trouble to find the patch.

WMP for osx does in fact play the file. It runs choppy on my computer (i have a slow 550mhz g4), but it does play.

Yup. It's about the equivilent of walking on an uneven/old/crappy hardwood floor..... creeeeeeek.

RIP Steven King
Steven King died today.... blah blah blah.
Gracias. It's a bad pose for her tits, I know.
It's like Jpop (japanese pop music), except that it's a subgenre of pop music for orangatangs that specifically read slashdot.
to be honest, i didn't feel like making up a subject line; "." didn't work, "/." didn't work, so i just started typing in random letters.
she's not too good at reducing the images form 4megpix. down to 1megpix, and gmail doesn't choke on big attachments, so why bother?

You're correct, but I think you're missing his point.
