My crappy P3-500 256MB system at work runs it about the same as before, still pretty slow, but it works.
They changed the Maximize button behavior, now it actually maximizes the window instead of toggling the mini-player. I actually liked the previous behavior, I rarely maximize windows, don't see the point usually.
My XFX Geforce 5900 has pretty lousy 2D on the HD15 port but the DVI port using the analog converter supplied with the card looks great, very sharp and crisp.
See, what you and the parent seem to miss, is that most Slashdotters respond to stories like this in the usual fashion, because most of us disagree with the laws as they stand.
So you are saying that because a post disagrees with the current Slashdot opinion on the subject then it is OK to mod that person as a troll?
I live in Los Angeles, spend about $25/month and the only power interruption in the 8 years I have lived here that has effected me was about a month ago and lasted about a minute.
It is a bit ridiculous to compare Florida, a hot and humid climate, with France, a temperate climate. Use the AC as much as you did in France and I can bet your power bill will dramatically drop.
Geez, I am glad I am not your kid. Most of the trip is incredibly boring, reading books, listening to CDs or playing gameboy is about all I ever did in the car until we got to the destination.
Fear not, you are not alone. Louisiana has a fairly sizeable population of french speakers. Good food too.
I don't know if there are any similar laws in french speaking areas of Louisiana.
You make a very good point. Hunters should be actively persude for support by environmental groups. They use the wild lands more than most people and have a huge interest in seeing it preserved.
I use it at work on my screamer P3-450 with 256MB RAM on 2000 without much problem. The only time I have noticed a SMALL blip is when doing some stuff in explorer.
I think it needs a little bit of work (visualizer and interface are a bit sluggish even on my P4-2.4) but it is pretty slick for 1.0 release.
"...as the top-of-the-line G5 ($3549 as configured) costs about $200 more than the similarly configured Alienware Aurora. "
"The 1.8-GHz single-chip G5 ($2999)... "
"All machines were tested with 1GB of RAM and the ATI Radeon 9800 Pro graphics card; the Mac version of the graphics card has a maximum of 128MB of RAM, while the high end for PCs is 256MB. Most of the PCs used dual, RAID-striped hard drives; the Apple systems did not. We retested the Alienware Aurora with the 128MB Radeon 9800 Pro card and without RAID for more-direct comparison with the G5 systems."

you beat me to it. There is a similar list for every country the Direct Marketing Association operates in (I think, hard to tell where I don't speak the language, but UK, Australia, Canada and US all have lists).
No meaningful connection between the activities? I would think getting punch in the head repeatedly would have a dramatic effect on your chess game.
So they will start outsourcing to china which pegs their exchange rate to the dollar.

According ot HP/Compaq it is based on ATA-3 specifications. There is a whitepaper discussing it here.
So saying she's not guilty, she's not a thief and what they are doing is wrong IS insightful, informative and interesting?
Give me a fucking break, the Dixie Chicks, just like anyone else are free to go into Florida at anytime.

Oh, we are so sorry to have offended you. How foolish of us to not know of a Korean service from a Korean only webpage.

buy an ipod and just play everything from that.
What law? The article conveniently leaves that out.
An artist that signs a crappy contract deserves whatever they get.
Critics who are not members of the academy do not vote, why would they need screeners?
So you give the tzero an unfair advanage at 1/8 mile since it has an electric engine?

You need to work on your reading comprehension.

Nice, but only stereo. :(

You can find your country specific weblinks at http://www.the-dma.org/affiliates/dmintl.shtml.
Yes, an HD signal beats the pants off a good analogue signal. Hopefully you will someday get to experience it yourself.
They are all listed as tested on MAME and include links to MAME on their website. How much more do you need?
