  1. It's obscene that parents would be worried about the relatively few cases of this happening and not whichever is worse for children out of the wars in South Sudan, Yemen or Syria. They can only be concerned about one thing in the world and that thing must be the worst.

Not every device running 10.3.2 will be using APFS, and I suspect the same is true for 10.3.3 when it is released soon. With APFS being 64-bit only, the 32-bit devices currently running iOS 10.x almost certainly won't have been switched across. These are also the devices for which 10.3.3 will probably be the final compatible version of iOS: iPhone 5, iPhone 5C and iPad 4. See: http://iossupportmatrix.com/

A few pounds of nuclear waste in the wrong hands, be they actively malicious or merely incompetent, could do considerable damage and therefore nuclear waste shoudl only be in the possession of properly trained (and licenced) entities.

I can see one of the big drive makers at some point creating a drive that effectively is 2 drives in one case. Maybe 1/5 of it would be SSD, containing the OS and regularly used files, games the user is currently playing etc with the other 4/5 being a standard HDD used for "slow" storage. I know it's completely possible to set this up right now but as with everything, a plug and play solution is needed for the non-enthusiasts to adopt.
