    true but those are localized and temporary as soon as humans are gone so are acid rain and smog. as for the hole in the ozone how do we know it hasn't been there before? we have only been watching it since the 70's, for all we know it is also a natural fluctuation like the climate. we already know that the hole fluctuates seasonally.

    unfortunately not everyone is as open minded as you. case in point Heidi Cullen saying that any weatherman who disagrees should not be given an AMS certification.

    I mean how can someone try to make the argument that anyone who disagrees with global is also someone who believes in the moon landing conspiracy, when one of the few humans to ever walk on the moon (Harrison Schmitt) is one of the people who disagree with anthropomorphic global warming.

    personally, the only thing i am sure about when it comes to this debate is that there are not enough human beings on earth to significantly change a structure as large and complex as the earth's atmosphere. the earth has been and will continue to change on its own; whether there are humans to see it or not.

    this man speaks the truth, universal gadgets and unnecessary wireless are two of the most annoying things in technology today.

    wireless being the worst in my opinion, it seems that everyone wants wireless everything. wireless printers, wireless hdmi, wireless usb coffe mug warmer, wireless wires. wireless things suck compared to their wired counterparts, the reason wires were invented was because the air is not as good a conductor of electricity and electrical signals as a copper wire.

    i have a ~9 year old pismo powerbook (tiger, g3, firewire) which is at the very low end of the supported hardware. in my limited experience with safari 4, it seems to perform about as well as firefox 3 memory wise. also safari 4 gets 100 on the acid3 test.

    by the by if anyone wants to contribute to the buy me a new laptop fund call 1-800-.....

    equal computers one with a cuda enable version of this warp 10 and a one of those nvidia tesla c1060 cards versus one with directx 10 and a nvidia gtx 280 (the graphics card which the c1060 is supposedly based on). of course this would effectively be a comparison of a $1200 video card vs. $500-$600 video card, but it would be interesting to see.
