As a member of the local hackerspace, I receive a ton of emails via their mailing list. There was recently a lot of discussion about acquiring some liquid nitrogen for some experiments.
Fast-forward a couple days, now I get banner ads on Youtube for sementanks.com which isn't embarrassing at all.
Last time I returned my mail rental for an in-store rental the lady at the counter told me about the changes. My initial reaction was that the changes made sense.
Now, if they take away my two free in-store game rentals, I'll be pissed, because that's like a $10/mo value.
So we give their kids some laptops, a chunk of the kids become really interested in the things, and in a few years I can outsource my boring web development drudgery (for myself, I'm sure someone would love doing it) to some poor kids in another country, and they'd get paid well for it, as long as they can get internet access wherever they are.
The N800 isn't actually a phone though is it? I need internet access when I'm at these stupid places like Starbucks where they want to charge $15/day for wifi.
Considering I pay over $55/mo for my blackberry with an unlimited data connection, and I can't even tether to my laptop (use as a modem) via bluetooth or USB (at least in Linux), anything that allows more connectivity and openness is sure to be a hit with more technical users. I couldn't give half a hoot about being able to buy annoying ringtones, it's the connectivity that I want.
Did anyone else see that "Spy Video Car" and immediately think of zooming through women's dressing rooms? Looking at these neat toys make me feel 14 again.
But I think I speak for everyone when I say, boy oh boy, I can barely wait until Tuesday to get my $300-something Windows Vista Ultimate Bill Gates Limited Edition......BAHAHAHAhahahahahaahahahahahahahahaahaha

That reminds me, I haven't seen Gattaca in quite some time. I'd definitely recommend it.
Are you suggesting that our second amendment rights are a "real problem"?
Is it still called voting if you use a screwdriver and a usb thumbdrive to do it?
It's probably not a good idea to get totally trashed, strip naked, and broadcast yourself all over the internet?

"Hey, you got fruitfly in my wolbachia"
"You got wolbachia in my fruitfly!"
I suppose that's why my Qwest DSL goes from 1mbit on Saturday/Sunday to 200kbps on weekdays right? The overbuilding?
Anyone know how Storm compares to SQLObject? They appear to achieve the same goal.
If that were the case, the graphics would be way better.
He's an Ori!

Like Vonage?
Agreed, there's no way this was a simple BumDoS.
What the heck did they cut out the part where hot Novell Linux girl takes a $20 from the PC for certain favors out behind the shed?
(frackin sellouts..)
But does Michael Dell actually throw chairs?

Maybe if the games marketed towards girls weren't so insultingly bad, then this wouldn't be quite so insulting, but that isn't the case.
;)
Who'd have thought Bill Gates could emasculate a bunch of male gamers so easily?
This binary is HUGE, the idiot programmer must have put comments ALL THROUGHOUT his code!!
