Look at the French, they have Butter and Cream all over thier diet. But they stop eating when they aren't hungry.

Also, salt isn't bad either, whatever the myths about salt say. Japanese eat way more salt than almost anyone else, yet they are really healthy for the most part as well...

The problems with Americans is they EAT TOO GOD DAMNED MUCH...

The first couple of Episodes (not including the Pilot) were a little sketchy. This isn't the fault of the Producer or Director, but the Studio... They were constantly giving them notes to "make the Captain more likable" and whatnot... They wrote a new Pilot "The Train Job" over a weekend, once Fox decided that they didn't want a two hour pilot. I think EVERY Sci-Fi show has a two hour pilot, but hey, thats Fox, and they were spending about $2 million an episode...

Like people have been saying, the show works much better on DVD... I wasn't a big fan until I saw it that way. I thought it was OK, but the stories and characters are growing and evolving too fast for it to be pre-empted, moved, rescheduled, etc...

Ultimately the show got cancelled because of bad demographics, not bad ratings... Almost all intelligent TV Shows get cancelled for this reason... Advertisers want a much dumber audience...

Umm, finding your pair is easier... Its in any wall jack, but that being said, its NOT your pair we are worried about, it someone elses (ie, someone without physical access to your house.) The equipment required to find a pair is much easier than the equipment necessary to find an IP address when you are talking about your local cross connect. As far as farther in goes, the problems are the same either way, there is some level of access needed, and some knowledge needed.

While I admit that the FPS is dominating most advances in the game industry, MMORPG's are fast catching up, with most players doing both...

Counter Strike:Source is only an incremental improvement over CS 1.6. But the thing is that the gameplay is so good, I'll keep playing similar games (eagerly awaiting BF2).

Speaking of Gameplay, Tony Hawk Pro Skater series is the one console game in the last decade to truly have such great gameplay, that it was fun, even if you weren't interested in the topic (skateboarding). These aren't solely technical hurdles, but creative ones... Creating a game that is fun to play for all skill levels is challenging on many levels, and I commend those that manage to put the resources into making a great game.

Also, the FPS isn't that last big revolution in gaming. That was the internet. Sure, the internet existed before the FPS, but playing with/against real people is really what has driven the FPS market.

You cannot deny that the Bush Administration doesn't give a rip about 9/11 or terrorism. Most of the 9/11 terrorists were Saudi's, and Al Queda isn't marginalized at all... Iraq has nothing to do with 9/11, and Clark gets blasted by people saying that he should support this president...

I actually consider myself a very moral person, and its your kind of glassy eyed worshipping a wrathful god types that give rational religious people a bad name.

By the way, I hate it when "Christians" quote the Old Testement. The old testament covers the covenant made with Jews. This includes the 10 commandments. Those who believe in Christ are covered under the New Covenant, which can be summed up with John 3:16 if you are so inclined. Adhering to the New Covenant as I do, I can easily say the word "FUCK" and feel no remorse, if I feel that I'm using it at an appropriate time. (Which I'll admit is almost all the time) Not only with I be forgiven, but also, I don't even think it matters what is said, but only what is meant. Intent is always worse than the words used to express it.

I wonder if you do respect the words of "Our Lord", or merely find them convenient when you want to make attacks on people.

May the lord bless you and keep you, unless you are really the asshole you pretend to be.

Yes there is. Spill them to someone elses RAM across a fast network. A lot of the time they aren't using all their RAM, and it's a LOT faster to do that than write it to disk.
