actually that is correct, there is evidence of other groups coming over here before the bering strait migration. they do come from what would become southern france. i'm sorry but i forget the name of the discovery channel show called stone age columbus
the jist of the show is they followed the ice cap to north america, much in the same way the inuit do today when hunting in the arctic. they landed on the east coast and lived there and migrated around a bit.
the cool part about the show was they showed an inuit lady a bone needle and said "this is 30 000 years old" and she looked at them and picked one off the table and said "i made this yesterday". the cool part was they looked identical
any person who has been in hmv knows that they tend to WAY over price cds as it is. typically most new cds are 14.99 - 17.99 or so, back catalog stuff is over $20 per cd for the most part unless it's one of the 2 for $$ deals they have going on.
now this might not be too bad, however from info from a friend who worked there it is bad especially for the back catalog stuff, ie not in the bargin rack or the best seller rack. anything on the shelf is subject to the managers choice. there is a minimum price they have to charge for a cd but no maximum. the one store i know of the manager hated punk, metal and the like, the cds would be $25+ in the back catalog but she liked britney spears and the like and those cds would be $20 or so
if you want to test this out, go to multiple hmvs and see the price difference for one cd, i've seen it as much as $5 and the stores were a 10 mins walk away from one another.
the world must be coming to an end, not only are the police reunited and touring, there's a judge with some common sense and he's presiding in texas of all places. now if this would only catch on more
i used to work for nerds on site, the original tech group in beatles, anyways one of our guys decided to call the geek squad one day to see what they were like. he showed up and had to reformat a drive and install windows. seemed simple enough, however they never installed any drivers or updates for windows, that was extra per driver/update, and so was resetting up the basic networking features of the computer, not share drives just the basics, yup it cost extra, any extra software, yup more money.
now comes the time for the bill, now being a "geek" you figure they would do it via the internet with auto-adjusting price based on the services ordered, something nerds on site has had for a while, no they did not have this. since our man was paying by credit card, the geek squad guy had to pull out one of those old credit card slider things. now in order to calculate price he had to use a calculator.
now i don't know if they've improved recently but you would think a large tech based company would use some basic stuff that a geek friendly company should already be using, personally why go with an imitation, go with the original nerd in a bug, http://www.nerdsonsite.com/ and yes they are world wide and constantly growing
an error i noticed in the story is about credit card numbers. they claim the first 5 digits are all the same for the bank. this is possible however highly unlikely unless the bank only offers one type of card.
now from my years of doing customer service i've learned a few things in how they are numbered, well at least visa and mastercard, amex is still a mystery to me.
the first number in all three is the type of card
3 == amex and diner's
4 == visa
5 == mastercard
the second number is the country code possibly
the last 2 digits are the bank code
the fifth number in the sequence is the start of the card type
so all of them aren't the same unless the bank only has one type of card and that's what they stick to, so it possible but highly unlikely
i remember in the good old days of the internet, we used 2 cans and some string and we were very happy with that. none of us wanted to switch and i still enjoy using my cans and a string internet connection
i say the university of waterloo in onatrio canada. it's one of the top ranked schools in the world for computer science and also one of the few schools that offers telecommunications for graduate degrees.
i don't see why it's assumed that american schools are the best, in some cases they aren't. people from around the world attend waterloo. if you're american it's cheaper to go there but the winter might be a bit colder or warmer depending on where you live currently.
they will have to watch out because it will finally be revealed that SCO invented unix while a person called Al Gore worked for them and then everything will be lost
am i missing something here or could these grief players roleplaying an evil character? ok i admit that using a cheat is bad and not good. however using underhanded tactics and killing off your own team is well evil.
i know a lot of the/. crowd is/was d&d players. i'm not sure how many of them played evil characters. i was one who did and at the risk of getting punched out for killing off our own party we didn't but that didn't stop any of my characters from plotting to do it. if any of you got along nice and did nice things, you were good even if you said your alignment is evil.
so in essence, minus the cheating, this is what these people are doing. i've found that a lot of people on the servers have no clue about what playing an evil character is like. i mentioned it to a friend when he played everquest. someone would lead people somewhere and they'd die, he'd bitch about it and i told him they were playing an evil character.
so here's a quick help on how to spot an evil character
no an evil character is not going to give you an item back
an evil character might help you if he need something out of you
an evil character won't think twice about killing you off, so stay useful
an evil character will lead you somewhere to get killed so they can loot you
i know it's not nice, hence being evil, but you can't expect everyone to act all nice, especially in a fantasy world, if you don't like it, leave the game, turn off your computer, walk away, go read/. or something.
she could not have adhd, which i personally don't think is a disease. she could on the other hand have autism or at least one form of it
i say this because there's an autistic child in my house and he grunts and groans, much like an animal.
the one thing common with autistic children is communication problems, hence why a lot are wrongly diagnosed with adhd. which isn't the doctor's fault, it's guess work and they try not to put forth the best case instead of the worse case
now most people think that autism is a bad thing, sorry but the movie rainman isn't a great portrayl. every case of autism is different and some people who have it are very highly functional, the boy in my house is on the extreme end of the spectrum and needs constant care (tolieting, feeding and such) and is almost animalistic in some repects to property and ownership of his stuff
my personal feeling is you should take her to a couple doctors that are well informed, especially ones that are good with all types of mental disorders, talk to you're local mental health group or autism society and have them refer you to a good doctor that could really help instead of issuing drugs for a questionable disorder that's not really treatable.
other thing i can think of is get her off the drugs and put her into something like karate or kung fu or have her play video games and such
funny since i've had a cell phone in canada, which has been on and off for over 10 years, the cost has actually gone down or stayed around the same
i had a free nights and weekends deal with bell mobility a few years agao, before the digital networks and my plan cost me $50, when digital came out it cost lots of money, now i got a free nights and weekends with telus deal and it costs me *drum roll* $40
if i do my math correctly 40 is less than 50 but i could be wrong
as for that CityFido program bell mobility has had that ability since about 96 or 97 in ontario and if i remember my company history fido wasn't around in 96 and neither was telus, it was just bell mobility and another company that i forget but they became rogers/at&t
well that's all well and good that they say a phone costs this much, but there's one small fact that they're missing ALL canadian providers give you a discount on the phone for a term contract, so in reality you DON'T pay the full price
all the phones they listed are the base price WITHOUT a package deal, and most of the american conterparts had a thing about it being free with a deal and such
the thing most people don't realise is that america has 300 million people canada has 30 million. another thing is that most phones aren't made in canada, the blackberry is the exceptoin so there's an import and other such taxes and special chips and such.

well i remember playing quake on my p1 100 Mhz with NO 3d acceleration at 30 fps, so i'm sure that a p4 1.75 GHz can easily do 50 fps without a 3d card.
so my recomendation is easy off that christmas punch and consider games like quake and it's sequals, which still run on my celeron 400a with a tnt2 card can run quake 3 and rtcw at over 30 fps with a couple things turned off but not much really
i might also suggest that not being able to play it acceptably as you not being good at playing the games themselves very well. just cause someone continually schools you in the art of fps doesn't mean it's unplayable at a certain speed, it means you need to get better and adapt.
i remember when icq first came out you could see what the other person was typing. hell even going back i remember being able to see what a person was typing when chatting on a bbs, i think even talk on our favorite family of os's allows you to see text being typed.
Winnie-The-Pooh's name comes from a soldier's pet bear from Winnipeg named Winnie. Christopher Robbins named his stuff bear after that pet bear.
i hope it works, tho somehow i doubt it will do anything even if there is a lot of corruption

tho i say for international stuff they should be tried at the hauge
finally i am able to wear my homemade tron outfit and actually fit in
story just went up and the site is slow, so it won't take long before it's not there anymore :|
i remember back in my day we had punch cards all lined up in order and we would see who could feed them through the fastest and we liked it
it's cool they're releasing all these old games on the gba but i'd really like them to release dragon warrior, final fantasy and faxanadu
the gba has some great rpg's so why not include the best ones out there
i remember in the good old days of the internet, we used 2 cans and some string and we were very happy with that. none of us wanted to switch and i still enjoy using my cans and a string internet connection
