Wrong. It sounds nice and is a good guideline - but what about the guy at my workplace who is extremely skinny yet eats whatever he wants, drinks a lot, gets little sleep and exercises maybe once every few weeks? He cannot gain weight. Please explain that.

This exactly what McQuaid said about the SOE-Vanguard deal. We all know where that went - there's no explanation necessary. Personally, I'll give this one a chance and hope that SOE doesn't screw Flying Labs but I'm extremely skeptical.

Yes, Apple is a viable alternative. Believe me, I am no Apple fanboy (kind of hate them actually) but in my office alone there are Windows boxes, Apple boxes and of course Linux servers. I'm not seeing a monopoly here.

But what religions do is unit people for common causes. They amplify the humanity that is missing from people like you.

This sums up a lot of the Fundamentalist thought regarding non-believers. People who don't believe and act they way the (say) they do are less than human to them. Just fish to be caught in their net so they can get a pat on the head from their invisible fairy god king in the sky.

The Fundies will try to refute this, but I spent a few years in the Fundie movement on a lark - even going so far as preparing myself for ministry. I know how crazed these people are.

I call FUD.... I'm a casual gamer but I can not stand mind-numbingly easy and boring games like WoW. Sorry, but I don't want to play Mario Bros skinned into an MMO. I want a game that has some challenge. Granted, there is too much of an emphasis placed on time played but I dare you to tell me WoW is not the same, especially in the end-game.

Vanguard is not perfect, not by a longshot but at least it doesn't hold my hand. Sorry, I'm 35 years old and I'm not dead yet. Give me a challenge.

Well, I for one would much prefer something like little WiiRemotes strapped to the ankes to replace dancemats. I was going to buy DDR but I read about a lot of problems with the mats. And if you think about it, jumping on your controller has to be hard on it (unless you pay a couple hundred for a metal pad). Remote sensing (like the WiiRemote) might avoid all the mechanical Dance Pad problems, perhaps?
