"'UMD possesses many strengths, from size to form factor to portability,' he says.
Not only that. It's also rather small, its dimensions are less-than-huge, it fits inside a reasonably sized box, not much space is generally taken by these disks and you can put many of them in one standard shirt pocket. Not to mention it's engineered not to be very big and there are lots of objects that take much more space. Geez, know your product's strengths man.
Actually, you can still do that. On my (unbranded) RAZR I can select a name by pressing number keys or up/down, then choose from different numbers for that person by pressing left/right. It's a setting:
In your phone book, choose [menu] -> Setup -> View: Primary Contacts.
Now, every number with a certain associated name will be grouped under that name.
Replying to self after reading TFA. The writeup is even worse, it 3 orders of magnitude off.
Come on.
From the article:
During its final moments, the impactor will take the closet images of comet's surface ever. The kinetic energy that will be released by the collision is estimated to be the equivalent of nearly 5 tons of TNT.
Nobody knows what will happen when 820 pounds of metal slams into the comet with 5 kilotons of force
...Largely due to the fact that nobody knows what the hell the phrase "5 kilotons of force" means in an impact situation, even if we forgive the use of tons as a force unit.
Or are we talking about an amount of energy equivalent to that released by 5 kilotons of TNT (probable)? Then say so. This is bad science, people. The kind that gets Ariane rockets blown up.
Dutch = relating to The Netherlands (country) or it main language. "Holland" is just a small part of The Netherlands (2 provinces: South Holland and North Holland combined).
If you refer to the coutry, its people, or its language, the correct terms are "The Netherlands (Nederland)", "The Dutch (Nederlanders)", and "Dutch (Nederlands)".
They provide a lot of options for enhancing tabbed browsing. The behaviour mentioned by you is one of them. Remember shutdown state (also in the event of a crash), display a warning when you try to close a multi-tab window, organise tabs in groups, etc. Les disruptive and much more functional than Multizilla, IMHO.

Jeezz...
(...) but the beauty here is that you don't need the source for IE to be able to do all this.
Check your facts! You don't need the Moz source to develop add-ons/ enhancements/ whatever. You really think people recompile Moz after patching, say, a sidebar panel into the source code? Yeah...
OTOH, source code availability IS a good thing. Won't (voluntarily) happen with IE...
(...)but you get it "for free" with IE because it's guaranteed to be installed on any windows system (well, any that hasn't been obsoleted yet)
Heh. That goes nicely with your.sig:

[quote]But wouldn't the sphere's inertia cause a noticable lag when you start or stop walking, or when you change direction? [unquote]
Although it's a bit different, your body 'suffers' from inertia too ofcourse, causing a lag, when starting to move, etc. Although stopping this thing will probably be a bit different from stopping yourself when walking, my guess is that you can adapt your sense of equilibrum pretty quickly.
You can fast forward and rewind, although you need to read the manual for that ;-)
Double-click-and-hold and triple-click-and-hold, respectively.
Hey, nice primes!
Kleopard. Has a nice ring to it, no? With the Kpyramid theme and everything?

So what you're saying is the PC is Death now?
We need to do something....paranoid parents today won't let them out to play and get exercise like we did....
Please tell me you're joking. Seriously.

Some of the newer Samsung models do this, it's really quite cool. Vibetonz, they call it.
Funny, that.
Standen Eredividie.
And ofcourse the last sentence in my post should read
"The kind that sends Climate Orbiters crashing into Mars."
Sorry folks. I'll stop talking to meself now.

Nope, sorry.
Holland is just a small part of The Netherlands. It is also a popular but incorrect name for the whole country called The Netherlands.
It's in the same league, but not quite the same, as calling the UK "England" or -oppositely- calling the US "America".

There are five labels you can attach to the selected messages by pressing [1]-[5] on your keyboard.
By default, they are named "Important" (Red), etc., but you can edit them to read "Mum's birthday" if you want.
The limit of 5 is probably a bit low, though, and it does not sync back to my IMAP server, so it could be more useful. Anyway, HTH.
Or try this one: Torrent from Mandrakes site.
There seems to be no link to it from Mdks site, but the search finds it. Unfortunately, this means that only 54% is seeded ATM.
Try Tabbrowser Extensions from Piro. .

About the flash: I believe the more recent versions of Flash for Moz support scripting. This wasn't the case until a week or so ago. Check it out.

I think it's alt+numeric 0128: Yup :-)
Those servers wouldn't be 64 bit Intel boxes now, would they ;-) ?
http://tecfa.unige.ch/pub/sounds/HAL/ Must convert em from .au . They're pretty cool.
