Take Top Spin 3 for example. I'm a huge fan of the series, having both previous tennis games on the XBox & subsequent 360. Then when TS3 was released I immediately jumped on the Wii version figuring it would be quite engaging with the Wii controllers. Imagine my surprise once I started up the game that there was no provision made to create your own player. A week later ended up buying the 360 version on sale and it has twice the features as it's Wii counterpart.
Wii = kids.
Isn't our galaxy on a collision course with the Andromeda galaxy that should happen in less than a billion years? So really, a bump into Venus or Mercury is moot.
No. Really. I prefer my Zune 80 over my all of my iPods. Better sounding, better software, better features. And Microsoft's philosophy on hardware firmware/updates is miles above Apple's if-you-want-the-new-features-you-need-to-buy-the-new-iPod attitude.
The only thing MS need to work on is battery life and 3rd party ability for line-out (LOD) cables to use with DAC/Amps.
I'm interesting in trying JG:E out but I think it won't replace EVE Online for me. However, the current issue of PC Gamer has a preview of Star Trek Online which looks pretty damn impressive. If only EVE can offer planetside missions in a first or third person perspective. Ambulation (walking around in stations) is on the horizon but it CCP need to offer more if it's to compete with the 'next gen' space mmo's.
Doesn't Canada (that grey, nameless expanse of of land north of the USA depicted on US school room wall maps) have a liberal attitude to file sharing thereby open to plagiarism?
Erm, because natural reefs are becoming too far and few in between. The reefs are dying due to exploitation (marine life collection for hobbyists) and water pollution. Did you know for the hobby marine aquarium trade cyanide is used to stun and collect aquatic species? The cyanide then kills the smaller verterbrae and coral. Eventually these reefs die. Sure there are protected natural reefs to go to but then everyone and their moms and dogs are diving there.
If MYST Uru Live ever got the attention and financial backing it deserves it would be the one to break the MMO 'mold'.

Until then I'll stick with my EVE Online, thankyouverymuch.
I bought the CE when AoC was launched last year. At first I was quite impressed with the game and enjoying it. Then it was time to leave Tortage @ LV 20. Everything from that point on was lacklustre. No NPC voice-overs, no scripted mission sequences, and no cohesive mission storylines. Needless to say I quit the mmo after a 3 month subscription. Other reasons for quitting: No DX10 support although advertised, continuously nerfed "adult" content in the first 2 months, meaningless item stats, drab item appearance/aesthetic, bugs galore, horrid group quest instancing method, aloof attitude from funcom in regards to all issues previously mentioned.
I was always under the impression that DNF was some inside joke and never was actually going to be made. I'd thought Take2 was in on it but it appears they did not get the memo.
The gaming public should be sueing both parties for empty promises and an excruciatingly long hype machine.
I would have been excited if it was BioWare or CD Projekt taking on the developer role. I would have been even more excited if it was Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series being turned into an RPG (as opposed to the FPS of the same name releasedback 1999).
There's still people playing this?
Ever since the motorcycle (MOTORCYCLE!!!) was introduced in WoW's Lich King expansion, the only viable MMO is EVE Online.
Duke Nukem Forever? More like Duke Nukem...whatever! The should have maybe closed their doors long ago instead of wasting print and webzine space about a sequel that would never see the light of day.

The Element Formerly Known as Ununbium ?

Although I have never played, nor have any interest in, the FF series I am wondering if we'll finally see the MMO to dethrone World of Warcraft?
The player has to inject the obligatory rootkit implant into their body upon first use.
...I'm still asking for an iPhone (32GB) for Christmas this year.

It's tragic a child killed himself. But simply over a computer game? Perhaps the dad was abusive and there's more to this story than we know.
If he's finding time to eat and potty then he does not have an addiction. But, really? PotBS?

Interaction > Sedation A good game is still way more entertaining than a good movie.
...with Eucalyptus and the shaking baby app. iPhone = iFun.

A good & stealthy way for said forensics expert to acquire new music and other media of ill repute for his/her personal use.
...prevents me from any time for the internets.

This is a good way for the Internet Police to catch 100 movie/media/warez pirates at a time.
I'd be a twit to not take the money and run.
