Not only that, but it alerts your friendly University system administrator that you may be "sharing copyrighted materials with Kazaa" and you have them frowning at them (and randomly shutting off your port because they believe you have been "hacked") Just use a different free Internet Telephony application.

    Does Not Exist. I am simply pointing out that the Radeon 9200 Mobility doesn't allow you to fully use a big feature of Tiger. There's nothing wrong with the iBook! I'm typing on one!

    The Radeon 9200 Mobility doesn't support pixel shaders. Period. It's becoming obsolete quickly!

    This graphics card is soon very obsolete by Apple's standards, because it won't support the upcoming Core Image technology which is part of 10.4 Tiger, scheduled to be out pretty soon as far as the lifetime of the iBook is concerned. Core Image is damn cool, and this little puppy will be left in the dust.

    The parent comment is most likely outdated knowledge. You were most likely using versions v0.1-v0.3. The latest v0.5.1, while still officially "alpha quality" has yet to crash on any of the machines I use or maintain. Try a more recent version.

    If it did, then they'red be a similar post saying "Why does the thing have a 56k modem?" . . . It isn't the only base station they've got, look at the specs and you'll see there is a more expensive base station with a modem.

    I'd guess that a modem in there would run the price up $5-$10 more.

    Not only that, but easy storage of hydrogen looks like it could take a serious turn for the better. From the guy who gave us NiMH batteries, Stanford Ovshinsky and his wife Iris have invented some metal alloy that soaks up a high concentration of hydrogen like a sponge... safely.

    So now we have potential of plentiful cheap hydrogen, and a great mobile way to store it for autos. . . Why is there this big holdup!
