I always considered Halo to be a mash up of Ringworld, Aliens, Ender's Game, and Starship Troopers. As far as an homage to these sci-fi heavyweights goes, I think they did a pretty good job.
Are you disabled? Is there anything legitimately keeping you from getting a job? If not, what makes you think you have the right to live off of everyone's taxes?
Your statement would be interesting if it were true. Most people and most companies do relatively the same thing. This has been true in every industry since such industries began. Revolutionary products are always going to be few and far between, otherwise they wouldn't be revolutionary.
I haven't noticed anything major as far as balance issues in TvZ; most of the reported balance issues are only noticeable if you play at a very high level.
Wow, I'd love to maintain code you've worked on. Sometimes you're lucky just to find the name of the author, if only to know who to curse under your breath (or out loud if it gets bad enough).
Been to any family reunions in the last few years? Maybe your cousin has one. Maybe one of your coworkers has one and took some pictures at the last office picnic. Maybe your neighbor put some pictures of you on her Facebook because she thought it would be "funny."
Yes, but congressional elections are right around the corner. Favorable views towards the Democratic party in general will benefit all Democrats running for seats.
From what I've gathered on forums, a lot of the users experiencing this issue are playing on laptops. In some of these cases, a fan ends up dying due to the extended periods of heavy load, which then causes the laptop to become even hotter. This is one of the many reasons I don't game on a laptop.
So, you think people should be allowed to drive drunk and fire weapons recklessly within city limits? And if someone is screaming in the streets because they are about to be raped, nobody should bother calling the police because the crime hasn't been committed yet?
other than nintendo's own games no other developer has gotten it halfway right.
Look back a couple console generations, and you'll remember that Nintendo was also the first company to get 3D games right (Super Mario 64), and it took a lot of other developers a while to reach where Nintendo was. Just because developers are currently struggling to make good use of motion controls right now doesn't mean it isn't inevitable.

Yeah, that's what I had messed up a bit: possession vs purchase.
What you just posted only refers to handguns. I believe you have to be 21 to purchase or possess a handgun, but rifles are fair game for minors.

Right, since there's never been a great game released, ever.
I'm not sure how you even knew this was remotely related to Google when you obviously didn't read TFA, TFS, or even the damn headline.

That's exactly what I thought when I first saw this.
I don't think it was ever really supposed to be true science fiction; it's just fantasy in space.
Sorry for the double post, but I envy you and your Autobahn. Freeways can get so irritating in the US.
Understandable. If I hadn't grown up in Wisconsin, I wouldn't have recognized some of the highways he was referring to.
He doesn't live in the USA either; I'm assuming he's from Canada.
Do people really get paid to produce studies as daft as this?
Yes, but you can see how far down the "intellectual food chain" they are.
In America we think of PBR in the same way they think of Stella Artois in the UK (which for some reason is marketed as a classy beer over here...).

Nothing major, but France has had a few issues with their power plants.

Now, I'm sure some of them also make sure they don't piss off publishers or studio.
Anyone remember the whole Kane and Lynch scandal at GameSpot a few years back?
Normally I'd just assume you were uneducated in these matters, but what you're saying is so ridiculously ignorant that you must be sarcastic.

Sorry, I was referring to 3D gameplay from a 3rd person perspective.
