    Perhaps they should load the cargo bay with pallets of $100 bills. Dropping those on the enemy might be cheaper and more destructive than dropping bombs. Of course the defense industry would complain that the dept. of engraving and printing was getting a no bid contract on munitions.

    Even with the uproar about bills, ACTA will become the law of the land still.

    If you sit on your duff and do nothing about it? Sure. Or you could make some phone calls like we did against SOPA and maybe we can chalk up another win for the good guys.

    The media companies are tenacious. They will get some of what they want added to the Babies and Puppies Protection Act of 2012. The will get some of it added to the God Bless War Vets Act of 2013. Before you know it they will have everything they wanted in SOPA and more. Get ready for tax increases necessary for all the new prisons needed to house copyright infringers in.

    Not really irony. They simply know where the slippery slope leads. Americans have forgotten why tyranny is bad.

    I remember when the Iron Curtain fell. I remember Regan talking about the evils of the East German secret police and hour such things could never happen in America. Look how far we've fallen in less than 30 years.

    The use of terms like "MAFIAA" is as juvenile and distracting as the "Micro$oft" terminology of years past. It dilutes a solid argument and isn't needed.

    Not to mention that it is insulting to the mafia to lump them in with the music and movie industries. By comparison extortionists, murderers, drug traffickers and pimps are much more respectable than the MPAA/RIAA.

    Apple now has $96 billion in cash/equivalents.

    Which means that the $100M spent on Android lawsuits accounts for just over 0.1% of their current cash (equivalent) reserves. Barely a blip on the quarterly report.

    I first saw this on fox news (link from google news, I wouldn't normally go there.) The article had so much pro-SOPA spin on it I got dizzy just reading it.
