    Actually the guy had in a file the numeric key code to access a safe where a winning lottery ticket made him win $600m. The file was backuped, but unfortunately the file *and* the backup have been destroyed by the forced upgrade.

    We're used to that kind of behavior from many companies (looking at you, MS). But don't forget Ubuntu is open-source ; any invasive code might be (and would be) detected.

    Yeah, but you know, the vast majority of users would never check that box, even if that could actually help us. If it really helps the Ubuntu folks (and us eventually), we need to know exactly what is sent, and if it's anonymous. Furthermore, Ubuntu is open source ; the devs would not dare to retrieve the kind of private data we don't want to make public.

    In this case, you have also to take into account the speed of Earth around the Sun, the speed of Sun within the Galaxy, the Galaxy within its cluster and the whole Universe is maybe moving somewhere...

    Impossible. Used both. iOS 9 was working fine. iOS 11 is a bug nest.

    When I show my dog 4 matches, he taps the ground twice and stops. So I try more, 9 ; and he taps 3 times. Then tried 100 matches, he tapped only 10 times. My last try was 256, but he only tapped 16 times. That dog doesn't count right :-(

    Articles are not negative, only descriptive. Comments tend to be negative towards Apple, but who's fault is that? Apple hid a slowdown "feature" that was rather a "stop using that device it's too slow, time to buy a new one" injunction in disguise.

    still, they're called film cameras. Nobody can see the pictures before the film is processed, and good luck to find a shop that still processes films nowadays.
