Ok, so while we are talking about the way companies reason we should also point out that very very few companies that close their doors actually end up selling their IP to another company or to a company that ends up doing something besides looking at their stuff and throwing it away.
I just recently bought some rack mount equipment from electroseller.com and had a really good experience. The prices were really good and the service was great.
Plus, they have a nice way of showing you what power supplies and rail kits will work with the case that you are looking at.
I called their customer service to ask a question and someone (a real person) picked up the phone on the first ring. Now that's service.
I know that there are two types of puns and the homographic type is very simular to a double entendre. Sighs, the last thing we need in English is a homonym for the word pun.
I've always tried to find an example of a triple entendre that makes sense, but alas, it has eluded me.
While a lot of you might think that these kids are ungrateful SOBs, they are more like us 20/30-somethings than you can imagine. They are at the bleeding edge of their domain, exactly like most of us were. I can remember being young and saying the same exact things about toys that my parents played with.
These kids will grow up one day and be amazed at the latest generation of kids saying something like "You mean you actually used your hands to play games".
I find it actually refreshing to read these kids comments.
Does anyone have any statistics on how many items say, a single retail store (like Wal-mart) sells in a single day? How about all of the stores in a chain. Data like that would help put things in perspective.
These are hilarious
My favorite is Screamer.mp3
Why does it always have to be about "what will Wall Street think". Or is that why you are using open source software?
It was a kind gesture on IBM's part and I am impressed by their leadership.
Has this guy ever heard of forehead burn in?

What a waste.

Is it just me, or do the display tables look very amateurish? I have never been to CES before though so...
CPU heat wouldn't be a problem if they would just invent steam power hard drives. ;-)
someone provide a link to the video where Windows 98 crashed on Gates and former MS employee at Comdex in Chicago circa 1998.
I think that managing a bunch of know-it-alls is a lot harder than managing people who are just there for a paycheck.
I've heard a lot of people say that the pseudo language in The Sims sounds a lot like Portugese. Is that right in any respect?
My wife calls to Uzbekistan frequently and often buys a phone card. Usually she can get a decent rate like $0.20/minute or something.
I once owned 400 shared of Commodore stock and still get sent a bank notice that it is worth something like 0.125 cents. Can I cash that in now?
Interestingly, this article from just 2 days after this slashdot article, may prove you to be wrong in that assumption.
Its interesting that these two incidents (slashdot article) and pilots reporting green laser light are so close together.
If its only one man, then who is going to carry Frodo?
No, I made a double entendre, not a pun.

Rhetoric:
Why is this news now? Why was this not news when it was first known? Why do most people only care about this as news in the wake of what happened.
Sorry for the double entendre.
"The day Microsoft makes a product that doesn't suck is the day they make a vacuum cleaner."

You're right, if they had been using MySQL, it would have been 64 items per second. ;-)
Seriously though, wasn't MySQL developed for a Sweedish warehouse company that had to handle like 50,000,000 items?

Yum!
Sorry, I couldn't help it.
Copy protoction still fails to stop rampant software piracy.
Do you wonder what all those free iPods links are about?
No, not really.
My wife actually is using Gimp under Windows now because she prefers its interface to Photoshop. ;-)
So much for starting a bunch on slashdoters in a round of song. I think it was relavent because of the second day line.
