Wow, temporarily frozen in time. It's kind a strange feeling reading over that blog. I imagine it's like walking into someones room after they unexpectedly passed away.
Everything it just as he left it. You have to wonder, if he had known he was going to die, would he have straightened up first?
Dude, the site is in Russia. English probably isn't their first language. Why don't you translate the above into Russian and we'll see how many spelling issues you have?
Actually I think the fellows who made XMMS wanted a Linux version of Winamp... in fact XMMS skins are the same format as the old winamp skins.
Yes. Winamp was out before XMMS. Actually, XMMS used to be called X11Amp, which was when I first tried it.
Let me tell you, when X11Amp first came out, it wasn't even close to the quality and features that Winamp had. It was the best thing around for Unix MP3 playback though, and it's improved and matured greatly since then.
If he's using something like TMDA, he can view all emails that have been queued and not delivered yet. This means you can kiss your $1,000,000 stash goodbye =)
An experienced communications specialist would come out with the statement:
"The Senator is taking a hiatus from active service to better understand how to reduce his own reliance on foreign products while minimizing any potential financial repercussions."
Please, that is SO pre Bush Administration. Their stye of communications would give the following press release:
"There is no Senator, there never has, and there never will be. And if their was, the notion that he is in rehab is insulting and unpatriotic. You must be a member of the Taliban"
I appreciate you posting wonderfully enjoyable, happy, and uplifting story on a Friday night as I'm primping to get ready to hang out with some chicks for some pregame drinks and then hit the bars.
Dude, the personal version is going to be priced at $29.95 (at least according to an earlier post). That's a more than reasonable price for a fully featured OS suite. Just buy it from CompUSA or order it online.
This one goes up to 11.
Yeah, well 250 Million isn't even 1% of the DoD's budget for 2004.

Reincarnation.
Now you're thinking of Multiple Personality Disorder.

I know we're getting off topic, but I'm glad at least one other person around here thinks Brad Pitt is a great actor.
I also enjoyed his roles in
Ocean's 11
The Mexican
Se7en
I know Ocean's 11 was nothing special, but it was enjoyable none the less.
My PPPPPowerbook is in the mail! Please take care of it as it's a one of a kind item =)
In those type of cases, I believe the FCC's response is "tough noogies".
Thanks, but nobody is bitching, except you apparently!

I'd like to demand a filter for posts from whiney folks that can't take a joke or see an opportunity for an interesting discussion.
Then put me on your foe list, mod me down, and shut the fuck up.
No, I don't have a sense of humor.
Great, in that case how about the ability to filter by the 'from' attribute?
I demand a filter option for 'Stupid April Fools' stories

Think of it as 1/10 of a Volkswagon .
Dimensional analysis be damned! This is Slashdot, I can mix units of length and time if I please.
