    I have fond memories of spending several months on one of the last bits of the DOS version...I'd managed to get to the top of a fairly huge tower but failed to realize that I had to take small steps to cross an invisible bridge instead of jumping a chasm...

    Or something like that, mainly I remember swearing and restarting a lot...

    Basically, what most people want is to be able to take a photo with their Iphone and then press the print button. Anything more complex than that just makes their brain hurt.

    I've been playing VO from Europe (Denmark) for 5 years, my ping's been around 140 pretty consistently, no lag at all. Could be network issues closer to home ?

    It may be legal in the U.S, but I'm almost 100% certain it isn't in this part of the world (Denmark, and probably the rest of Scandinavia).

    As your wifi ages, you pick up more and more freeloaders which slow down your net. When you replace your equipment, the freeloaders get booted off and have to rejoin. Hence the temporary speed increase. Duh!

    Most likely, most of your calls are to people who simply don't care what browser, office suite, or mail program they have installed as long as it does more or less what they want it to. They consider a pc a home appliance and probably spend as much time thinking about patches, security and upgrades as they do about proper vacuum cleaner maintenance.

    Not a question if IQ, just priorities.

    That said, anybody caught sending cash to a member of the Nigerian royal family probably shouldn't be allowed to breed...
