Facebook fans are easier to collect than signatures for an online petition. Taking a week to get only 1200 people to click a button in support of the largest religion in the country is evidence that the campaign is NOT working, IMO
Yeah really, considering how long Canaveral had their Saturn V outside exposed to UV and Florida thunderstorms that's a bit presumptuous, the Saturn V was a MUCH more import vehicle and yet for ~40 years NASA themselves couldn't/wouldn't spend the money to preserve it to last even 100 years.
Actually, there is no Saturn V rockets outside in Cape Canaveral. The largest rocket in the rocket garden at Kennedy Space Center's Visitor Center is a Saturn 1B. The only Saturn V on display in Florida is housed inside the Apollo/Saturn V center.
I would recommend Avogadro. It is a molecular editor and viewer released under the GPL. For high school students, it could be used as a substitute for the ball and stick model kits. It has a simple interface and most of its basic functions can be learned within an hour or two.
Individual songs are small, but albums, especially if they are high-quality rips, can be several hundred MB. Entire band discographies are even larger and can be several(if not 10's) of GB in size. Bittorrent is much more useful for downloading music than you give it credit.
I'm not an expert, but I do have several years of experience with molecular dynamics(GROMACS) and quantum chemistry(GAMESS) software. From my experience, the task of running a simulation using pre-packaged software is relatively simple. The difficult part is knowing enough biology, chemistry and physics to set up a meaningful simulation and being able to analyze and interpret the results. So yes, you could read the software documentation and learn something, but you are attacking the problem from the wrong end.
If you like the company and/or your job, I would get a copy of the license agreement for the software that you believe is pirated and show it to the boss. Explain how what you have observed violates the license and suggest that the company either pay for the software or make the transition to free software.
Alternatively, if you don't like the company, I'm sure you've seen the BSA ads all over Slashdot.
Yet another gimmicky use of galvanic skin response. You might as well be required to undergo Scientology auditing before trading stocks, since the E-meter measures the exact same thing.
The Anarchist's Cookbook also popularized the myth that smoking banana peels will get you high.

For those of us who don't know, what is wrong with a short SSID(i.e. 5 digits) if a strong encryption(WPA) is used?

Will they send money to foreign developers for making culturally British games, like Paradox Interactive's "Victoria: An Empire Under the Sun"?
