Read the LANParty.com guide and make SURE you have a power grid already mapped out so you can troubleshoot power failure on the fly. Also, have trash cans EVERYWHERE and designate ppl to take the trash out. Trust me
It once took me 3 days to find my girlfriends car keys in our apartment...aparently they fell off a table onto a chair that was covered by the tablecloth on the table that we never sat down to.
See if one of your friends has a GPS and try it sometime, sometimes the biggest trial is getting to within 30 feet of the cache in the first place, others is when you spend 30 minutes seaching a 15x15 area for something you know is there.
Have you even ever read the rules, or gone a cache for that matter? Caches do *not* get buried, just covered in leaves or sticks or stones - usually in ammo boxes or tupperware, something insanely difficult for wildlife to open if it found it. But then again, since the rules state no leaving food, wildlife is never a problem.
I have only been on 5 caches so far, but we have *never* left a trace that we were there, save for a prize exchage and a entry in the log book.
Your argument is insulting and just plain ignorant
Good reverend, you should search for PXE info - it is basically a chip on a network card that can basically "boot" to the network...it seaches for DHCP, BOOTP, etc and blah blah blah:)
either that or someone hasn't been running Windows Update which almost always requires a reboot whenever a critical update comes out... what was that Kevin Mitnick quote, something like you can't go to windowsupdate and download a patch for stupidity?
Now, if only they would distribute the software for the simulators or even run "Arcades" with networks of these thing setup, we could have 8 year old fighter veterans!
Dont forget to copy the registry.dat when you copy Mozilla from Application data so that Mozilla knows where you are storing the Mozilla profile. As long as you are using 2000/XP (NT could work too, that's what I had have to use at work right now), just make all of your profile directories/files ready only *EXCEPT* the parent salted directory, they need read/delete to that for the lock file.
The way I have Mozilla set on our NT4 machines is to use the profile editor (name?), delete the default, create my own (named modlang, being that I run the modlang computer lab) profile, put it under mozilla.org in the program files directory, set everything to the way I want (popup blocking, default homepage, etc) and then simply copy mozilla.org directory (with mozilla already being installed on the profile creating machine) to each target machine.
The tricky part was figuring out that I needed to copy the registry.dat to default user's application data directory, after figuring that out it is cake.
Hmm, I can see it now: after the Tornado in a Box company runs out of chicken processing companies, they will go after serial killers next...imagine the possibilities!
Thanks for the link. I did enjoy the movie more than the first one, we waited a few days after opening so we could avoid all of the kids that like to recited every line of the movie during the movie. But, I did not enjoy it enough to wish I never had gone to see it that night:/
Our motherboards are shot, I decided to do a quick test on them before trying to clean and they are pretty much DOA. One of the has health indicator lights on it and...well...code blue anyone? Our monitors were crappy 15 inchers from State Surplus, so I am not too worried about them. Any ideas for getting our Video cards cleaned? Somehow, those managed to survice, along with one AMD cpu and a DIMM of DDR.
Unfortunately, we do not have renter's insurance - So far, the Febreeze detergent seems to help a lot on some of the clothes, but I will try Oxyclean too. Thanks for the suggestions:)

Hey, I'm an MCSE that is *not* unemployed! I run a Linux server :)
Looks like another blindly antiwindoze zealot got mod points again...
Hopefully, unlike RC1, I won't have to control-alt-delete to kill mozilla.exe in Windows a la Netscape 4.7x

A hydropnic crop, guess they should have never hired Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong

All of the geocaches that I have come upon (yeah, all 5 so far) have been marked on all sides in marker "GEOCACHE"

So, if I were to study for a test in college, would that be a cheat also?

Just so everyone else knows, the BBC has free feeds and news about the war in Iraq that you do *not* have to register for.

No, that they don't. n00b, you're going to hell.
Try changing in IDE driver in Windows 2000, seriously, and make sure to NOT have your trusy Win2k Install CD nearby.

Actually, its only about 3.61 times faster than a GeForce2 mx.

Yeah, I definately will get Renter's insurance from now on. Just for the tension it will ease off my mind, it will be worth it.

Our hard drives *seem* to be ok, did yours continue to work long after the fire or did it die after a short while?
