That's even more funny if you mean this weekly reader: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weekly_Reader
"Weekly Reader is a weekly educational classroom magazine designed for children in grades Pre-K–12. It began in 1928 as My Weekly Reader. ";) It was good stuff when I was a kid.
Netscape navigator 9.0.0.6 (I have it installed just for laughs) shows the 3D button but the plugin shows some errors and crashes the browser if you try it anyways.
You're on the wrong site. Saddism is over there....oh wait...whaaa?
And i thought i was the only one that did that, got Mosiac and Lynx too? Been going thru stuff and got a couple of the last netscape (whatever) was last version.
But back on topic this really reminds me of Choplifter and Rescue Raiders:P
Personally the scariest thing i've seen was cash registers at a major department store running Windows 98.
At the time they were also replacing their wireless credit card/ATM readers with ones that had encryption (real scary eh?)
This was 6 years ago, it was around the same time a major fast food chain was still running their stores off an NT 4.0 server and wasn't going to change any time soon.
I've had quite a few games i bought that had media checks in them. A recent game came on DVD-ROM and the media check failed because my only DVDROM drive happens to be a burner. Remember I paid for the game, so whats the alternative then? This wasn't the first program to cause issues because of certain hardware etc, but you get the idea. I had no alternative did I? Also don't waste your time with call the support line, that joke gets old.
Back when I had 56k dialup from a local provider, I had a linux (slackware) box setup to share the connection. It would connect, redial if dropped and stay connected all the time. Had two PC's hooked up to it (3 total). It was nice and fast for the time 53,000 or so down (had a 2nd line of course just for it). This was in 1998 before Roadrunner hit town (1999), havent looked back since.
Online gaming back then was kinda rough, but like everybody back then we made due.
I would imagine that something equal to my cable connection was say $25 a month more people would sign up.
Its a "Boot other Devices" or "Boot removable USB devices" in your bios turned on and the memory card reader in your printer appears as a device that it wants to try to boot from (removable hdd).
also btw: (I don't accept Windows Updates for components I don't use)
that will get you a virus, just because you don't use it, its installed and can be exploited.
Well the problem with internet traffic IS of course all the unsolicited traffic that you receive every second (worms or whatever). Not sure how most ISPs solve that issue. The internet is/has been a "noisey" place for quite a while, i do not want to pay for somebodys "crap" cause it happens to bounce ping/sniffs/whatever off me.
An excellent site for people like me who stuck with the Apple II//][ line when the IIgs came out is the http://freetoolsassociation.com/. It's the FTA's site, they're from the demo scene back in the IIgs days, along with an EXCELLENT activeX or downloadable emulator. Not to mention some great disc images from back in the day. Worth checking out for any Apple II fan.
The Mocha is a name used by that distributor of the Latte made by Saintsong, in Taiwan http://www.saintsong.com.tw. Seems its not on their website anymore. Here is the page of the US Distributor (Intraplex Corp) http://www.intraplexcorp.com/Latte.asp

Have you ever thought that someone who might like an Action-Adventure-RPG such as WoW wouldn't like a twitch First Person Shooter like TF2?
Actually I do like both, thanks for asking. A Raid group fighting a boss or PVP group in battleground can be just as exciting and "twitchy" as a FPS.
Try getting ganked sometime :D

Actually there is instructions on their website on how to solder a USB cable to the router. This is shown for recovery purposes.

Probably not exactly what you want but, its nice there is already instructions (in case) you brick it.
Still, I'm sure that, sometime soon, MS will remove the Ctrl+C combination. For national security, of course.
BUT you still will have CTRL-InsertHA!
Maybe an unfinished Duke Nukem Forever will turn up?
Someday....someday!
