You know, when you build a computer network, one of the obvious things you want to eliminate are bottlenecks in all of your edge networks. One way to do that is to add more infrastructure to accommodate those bottlenecks as well as adding redundancy.
However, you don't ask your users to stop using the network in a sort of austerity measure because you want them under your thumb and just don't feel like working that hard to build a larger network.
One example I use is power distribution. Half of the energy in power production is lost before it even arrives at its destination. Everyone should generate their own power, and it should be forbidden to centralize its production. There are lots of ways to do this, but they won't be permitted because a few people own all of the power and it would be threat a ruling dynasty.
Secondly what they don't tell you is as long as infrastructure is in place and kept up, most communities stop having more than maybe 1 or 2 kids. This is a well known side effect of developed countries who have good education systems, and economies that aren't in the clutches of a bunch of crooked bankers.

I have been waiting for some sort of response from Linux for a while now, with regards to Nvidia.
Linux is right, Nividia is nothing but a pile of poo, and it has caused my business a ton of problems with virtualization for example in the Linux Desktop space.
Many of my customers use qemu-kvm, with desktop linux terminals to run UNIX, Windows and other pieces of software for AT&T.
Some of these are autocad based, and the AMD open source drivers works really well. However, a few of the workstations I have had to deal with use Nvidia GPU's and the drivers wreak havoc on the kernsl stability and patch cycles for virtualization.
I now don't even bother and require customers to buy AMD gear otherwise I don't support it.
So I have to agree with LINUX, for anyone out there actually trying to create a LINUX based desktop future, the Nvidia hardware really crucifies the customer experience in dealing with the idea of a LINUX desktop.

There are two ways of looking at the human condition of over population: If you are in the 1%, it is an extreme dire emergency because everyone one alive is plotting ways to steal your luxery living, entire economic sectors your family controls, or the future payoff budgets in making government do exactly as you tell them.
If you are the 99% it is obvious the planet is under developed technologically, due to the wars...the constant trillion dollar wars, bankers literally stealing everything from left to right, and governments who have created conditions with rules for themselves, and then rules for everyone else. It is _not_ over populated.
In those sorts of conditions chaos stunts technological development. (Unless you want to waste resources and energy making cute technological gadgets like iSh*t this and iSh*t that.)
You know, when you build a computer network, one of the obvious things you want to eliminate are bottlenecks in all of your edge networks. One way to do that is to add more infrastructure to accommodate those bottlenecks as well as adding redundancy.
However, you don't ask your users to stop using the network in a sort of austerity measure because you want them under your thumb and just don't feel like working that hard to build a larger network.
One example I use is power distribution. Half of the energy in power production is lost before it even arrives at its destination. Everyone should generate their own power, and it should be forbidden to centralize its production. There are lots of ways to do this, but they won't be permitted because a few people own all of the power and it would be threat a ruling dynasty.
Secondly what they don't tell you is as long as infrastructure is in place and kept up, most communities stop having more than maybe 1 or 2 kids. This is a well known side effect of developed countries who have good education systems, and economies that aren't in the clutches of a bunch of crooked bankers.
Iceland would be a good example there.
But the 1% don't want that. They want destruction, war and huge crisis that _THEY_ caused so that they can appear to be in control and save us all by essentially making things worse and worse.
Yeah there is a over population, an over population of 1% having way to much and strangling technological development for the rest of humanity so that little old ladies can't cool their apartments and babies have to die of stupid diseases.
Specifically I am talking about Democrats, Republicans, the Rothschild banking Syndicate, and United Nations that need to just GO AWAY.
If they don't, the human species might not be around for very much longer.

I would be careful though, because the UN's idea of freedom isn't meant for _you_ it is meant for _them_.
As in, _they_ want to track, control and insure everyone is connected so that _they_ can have access to track, control and insure....insure nothing changes, and only those approved changes happen to further their control and tracking efforts of every single man, women, child, cat, dog on the planet.
That way they continue to live in luxery while you are put in your place.

Almost all of them have nothing to do with health care but simple plain money laundering or criminality and greed.
Lets start with the fact that a law that makes people pay, to a small select group of private insurance companies isn't a law, its a system and it is called

Secondly, even if Health Care was free, and I am not advocating that by the way, there are not enough doctors to treat everyone. I have to wait 8 months right now for a physical if I want to see the doctor I like for example.
In order for health care to work, we have to have enough doctors and this health care act doesn't do anything to lift the economic barriers to completing a medical degree, or even practice with a degree once you are finished school.
Finally in case you haven't been watching the news, western society is collapsing. How is that you say? Well, it has to do with any system that is run by criminals, it stops working because there is no way to make anything work with everyone at the top stealing everything. Looted to the tune of 17 trillion dollars the US economy is done for.
Bank holidays are so rampant in EU right now, they have to invent I.T. problems to cover them up.
There is _NO_ money left to pay for this law. What you going to do? Send shock troops into people's home right now and kill their pets because you can't pay your premium to the insurance companies? They already send in secret police to get people over student loan defaults.
We already have banks taking peoples homes who already paid for them!

I would like to point out, Nvidia has had many opportunities to put a stop to these agreements.
So I am not arguing lawful IP agreements can prevent Nvidia from cooperating, but you also have the right not to sign also and pursue a more profitable business which brings in open source customers as well as buyers into your product lines.
This cuts both ways and you can't tell me Nvidia management has had its head in the sand with regards to market penetration of LINUX, and what and why the engineering process calls for: source code.
People don't pick Windows when they need 5000 GPU's for scientific computing. Furthermore, they don't want ancient kernels with binary blobs running on very expensive dedicated hardware when advances in kernel technology happen almost weekly.
They want to have the latest, and they want it when they have engineering and administrative and engineering timelines they want to accomplish for their organizations, not what Nvidia dictates.
I mean who does Nvidia think they are? When I buy a piece of hardware, its mine, and I expect to be able to use it how I want.

Eventually given how global markets expand and change, Nvidia will have to change its policies.
After all, they sell a GPU.
Consider how silly it is not to publish register information so you can write software for it. It is silly. Especially if Intel did the same thing with its chipsets because AMD might get some information on how a instruction works and try and copy it therefore making assembly language illegal and silly IP laws.
Eventually this policy is going to cost Nvidia in the pocket book, and they will either come around or sink into nothingness.
The exact same direction Apple is going to be heading to very shortly.

Packing rules should be made as part of your disaster recovery plan. But as a rule, I save the packing for large server and switching equipment. That way there is no issues with packing.
Workstations I don't save the packing after 30 days. In that case I would plastic wrap them and ask employees to assist if due to circumstances all available shipping options are exhausted.

I have been waiting for some sort of response from Linux for a while now, with regards to Nvidia.
Linux is right, Nividia is nothing but a pile of poo, and it has caused my business a ton of problems with virtualization for example in the Linux Desktop space.
Many of my customers use qemu-kvm, with desktop linux terminals to run UNIX, Windows and other pieces of software for AT&T.
Some of these are autocad based, and the AMD open source drivers works really well. However, a few of the workstations I have had to deal with use Nvidia GPU's and the drivers wreak havoc on the kernsl stability and patch cycles for virtualization.
I now don't even bother and require customers to buy AMD gear otherwise I don't support it.
So I have to agree with LINUX, for anyone out there actually trying to create a LINUX based desktop future, the Nvidia hardware really crucifies the customer experience in dealing with the idea of a LINUX desktop.
