The new artists and new creators of music being consumed are those like the artist covered in TFA. You can sue them or sign them up and sell their creative work. Admittedly standing on the shoulders of others.

    I support this at my work. It is fairly simple.

    Free license for Student/academic/non-profit.

    Java based install with Tomcat and MySQL. Does do email account monitoring and response.

    Low customization overhead out of the box but easily customizable.

    As I watched the Opening ceremony, I thought they did say it was computer generated foot steps. I will have to go back and check the tape. (Why, yes I do still use my VHS and, yes, the clock is set to the correct time.)

    They make money selling items and merchandising the music.

    Ticket sales and items sold at concerts benefit the artists directly as they are putting the most effort into it. And they can be big money losers for the label if albums don't sell and they band is pulling charge backs to cover tour expenses.
