    Agreed, last time I looked satellites had a real hard time taking pictures of anything that wasn't already "outside in plain view"..

    Try sitting on the roof of a building across the street from Wrigley without "someone" paying Wrigley for you to be there.. All those houses and buildings in the outfield pay a license fee to Wrigley every year.. Just because you can peek over the fence does not make it "free"

    We've been using rapid prototyping and CAD in the jewelry trade for more than 5 years now.. Desktop printers are available for $30k and high end production boxes for as little as $80k..

    The hardest part of this has been finding ways to keep older, traditional, craftsmen involved in the process while at the same time streamlining production and reducing costs.. Like any new tech there are those that will adapt and find new business models and those that learn to say "Welcome to Wal-Mart"..

    Another reason is the arcing problem at the higher voltages..

    A real issue is connecting and disconnecting different things such as trailer wire harnesses.. The repeated plugging and unplugging and the arcing that goes with it will burn through the connectors in a rather short period of time..

    Even at 42v this is a problem that a lot of people are spending a lot of R&D money on..

    BRE is still alive in a new form.. It's called Utopia now and run by Mehul Patel and Swirve Games.. 60k players (more than half of them punks) but still fun, and of course, free..

    Thr problem is that the wrong people have Nielson boxes.. My grandfather had one.. Yet he rarely watched TV, and when he did it was local news..

    How are people like us suposed to affect ratings?? The PTB certainly don't think much of Email campaigns..What's left other than highjaking some Nielson boxes??

    Be glad you had a 180.. I just bought my *band system just 4 months ago.. At $800 for the hardware and install, + $79/mo for service, if they drop tomorrow I will have paid almost $300/mo for internet access..

    There are very few other options this far out in the sticks..

    We didn't have a 'game night'.. But I did have 3 seats set aside purley for hacking and experimenting.. They were allowed to try to break the school network, write their own code, and generally be geeks without fear of getting in trouble for violating the school code..

    The only rules were that you had to use those 3 seats (where I could easily see them) and if you cracked my network security you had to show me how you did it, and no DoS attacks on the school servers..

    But we don't know what his intentions really were since he was caught before he actually did anything.. Perhaps it was an attempt to keep his job, perhaps not..

    But, Intel in vicious in it's prosecution of rule breakers and those that do not follow the 'company line'.. I know many folks at Fab 9 in New Mexico that are no longer Intel employees because of 'minor' issues..

    *sigh* again, you have taken something.. The IP owners ability to SELL their IP.. By making it available for free you remove the ability to earn a living.. Not everyone is contnet to live on welfare at the tit of the government.. Many of us would like to feed our kids and keep them in a warm home..
