    I call bullshit. I have both and while there are some apps that don't translate from Ipad to Ipod touch the UI is the same, the app store is the same, the settings are mostly the same. Name a significan difference between the two. I can Skype on both, I can watch Utube on both, I can surf the web on both. Aside from screen size how is the Ipad significantly different from the Ipod touch (and yess I did say touch not the old school Ipod. Bullshit.

    I never thought I would say it, but I can now quite easily envision a day very soon when all my new media (games, movies, music, TV shows, books, etc.) will belong to studios, software companies, publishers, etc.--with me just renting it

    You have the choice to use their product or not. You also have to decide if choice is worth fighting for. If enough people don't pay for big media's product they cease to be relevant. Currently we (USA) have too many sheep that are willing to surrender choice for convenience. As the saying goes, they deserve neither.

    That is a parents job. School systems should not exist for that purpose. It's like relying on the federal government to represent everyone's best interest while your congressman in taking money from large corporations to do their bidding. The system should work but we all know that it doesn't. Sorry I better go put my tinfoil hat back on.

    I can see why an employer would want the device to be restrictive as it pertains to getting these in the hands of users. I deal with that at work all the time. If you don't like your local school district policies you should lobby to change them. After all you'll have a far better chance of implementing change at that level than you ever will in Washington.

    Yeah but to them god does exist. You and I may feel differently but that doesn't change the fact that some people choose faith in the face of scietific reason. As long as they don't come to my door trying to convert me we're good. Stay off my lawn.

    Oh please. The only reason he gave up that money is because Oracle was going to cover him. No man in his right mind would give up that kind of money if he didn't get something in return.

Bah just another marketing gimmick from company that can barely sell the bloated A-330's that have been sieged with cost over runs and failing sales (not to mention canceled orders).     If you paid for 250 GB (for example) and you hit that limit, I think the companies have every right to cut your off completely, just the same as my calling card or cellphone "cut me off" when I run out of minutes.

    People need to stop being petty when they moderate. He has a valid point. Currently Comcast is doing the same thing except they are'nt offering unlimited service (I think their current bit is "the fastest fast"). I'm pretty sure some other ISP's are doing the same thing as they don't want any scrutiny from the FCC. The comment is valid, if they make the limits clear they the ISP is well within their rights to either ask you to pay up or disable your service till the next month. Modded up +2 under rated.

    No lasers. The value of a tool like this would be close in air support. Think cluster bombs on a smaller scale. If they could solve the buzzing sound this would make great close in surveilance drones. Perfect example: I'm a squad leader tasked with taking and holding a small town but I want to know if the enemy is already there. I take one of these guys out of my backpack and within minutes I have a complete surveilance profile of the town. Yeah I play too many first person shooters.

    OMG who wouldn't want to sit in an airconditioned trailer and control several of these guys at once. The rotor sound reminds me of the V-1 buzz bombs the Germans dropped in London between 1942-45. Except these things are infinitely more frightening.

    If lefties are truly and underserved group in all of gaming then they may be going for a niche market. If you are a small enough company you can afford to go after this market and develop it.

    Yeah after a long all nighter playing San Andreas I had some temptations the next day. I'm late to work(quid pro quo after an all nighter) stopped at a traffic light and I mentally calculated the amount of time it would take to jack the car in front of me and get away before the cop across the street would see me. That game owned me.
