Aperture Science; We do what we must, Because we can.
For the good of all of us. Except the ones who are dead.
But there's no sense crying Over every mistake. You just keep on trying Till you run out of cake. And the science gets done, And you make a neat gun For the people who are Still alive.
I'm not even angry... I'm being so sincere right now - Even though you broke my heart, And killed me.
And tore me to pieces. And threw every piece into a fire. As they burned it hurt because I was so happy for you!
Now, these points of data Make a beautiful line. And we're out of BETA. We're releasing on time! So I'm GLaD, I got burned - Think of all the things we learned - For the people who are Still alive.
(Go ahead and leave me...) (I think I'd prefer to stay inside...) (Maybe you'll find someone else To help you?) Maybe Black Mesa? That was a joke! HAHA! FAT CHANCE!
Anyway this cake is great! It's so delicious and moist!
Look at me; still talking When there's science to do! When I look out there, It makes me GLaD I'm not you.
I've experiments to run. There is research to be done, On the people who are Still alive. And believe me I am Still alive. I'm doing science and I'm Still alive. I feel fantastic and I'm Still alive. While you're dying I'll be Still alive. And when you're dead I will be Still alive.

Update: 07/24 22:20 GMT by T : It seems that Davidson has been found, victim of a murder-suicide which also left two others dead. " And the hilarious tags are: spam, wanteddeadoralive, preferablydead, oops, it (tagging beta)
The question isn't whether or not to teach more than one possibility, but that we only want them to teach scientifically supported facts.
Every aspect of evolution is subject to scrutiny, and incremental improvement as new facts come to light, where as ID is sold as an absolute and infallible truth.
ID is an interesting topic for a philosophy class, not science.
I don't come to your church and try to lobby the idea of atheism, so I respectfully ask that no one try to sell superstition in my kids' science classes.
Get a d-link DNS323 and toss in 2x1TB drives, and you are set.
The firmware hasn't really matured until now, with FTP/iTunes/samba server, and the latest addition is a torrent client, for all your 24/7 downloading needs.
It's quite hackable, with an USB port for printer sharing, or storage with a bit of hacking.
I had horrible firmware problems the first ½ year i had it, but now it's smooth sailing
Drop.torrent file in torrent directory on server. torrent takes care of the rest, while providing a nice web interface front end if needed even my gf can use, and playback using XBMC directly on the TV.
Now all we need it xbmc for linux to mature so i can playback 1080p with some better/faster hardware.
And as a bonus I have all seasons of all shows I've watched at my fingertips.
Just FYI, it's the southern tip of Greenland, and yes, it's green in the summer, as it was when it was discovered. However the mini ice age in the middle ages made it a lot colder for a number of years. It's not like the enormous ice sheets of Greenland have thawed in the last 100,000's of years, a potential problem we are now facing. A big problem for the north Atlantic part of the Gulf Stream that could choke and stop delivering ice free oceans in the winter to many countries like Iceland, Greenland, GB, the Faroe Islands and the Scandinavian countries.
I'd like it if my spam filter could "mod up" non english email.
most of my email correspondance isn't in english, while most of my spam is in english... I've instructed my dad to delete ANY mail with an english subject if he doesn't know the sender before opening it, and that seems to work out fine, english is his 3rd/4th language and only has 2 contacts using it. If something is important enough, he'll get at call about it:) (this probably wouldn't fly at work, but for his personal email it's fine)
you don't expect at pothead party to get their members of their asses, do you?;)
and they have a pirate ship dammit:
If elected, the Pirate Party promises to strengthen Swedish privacy protections, weaken copyright laws, abolish the EU Data Retention Directive and roll back government surveillance legislation, said Sjöman. The party plans to hold its first convention in April, aboard a pirate ship.
but seriously, those issues feel very "real" to alot of young people, more tangible than many other election promises. and the scandinavian countries have relatively high voter turnouts.
EPOCH WIN

I have a sneaking suspicion the repairs won't be done till 2012... :| Making the prophecy come true after all.
It's an interesting thought..
Guantanamo bay is around 1/2.5 the size of the Maldives, but probably more usable land, and according to Obama the US is moving out anyways.
The climate is compearable, so just buy the naval base...

They probably didn't get around to translate it to Icelandic.
On a side note, what is the largest denomination you get from an Icelandic ATM? 5000ísk?

If this was wikipedia, "stealing" in this context would be a weasel word...
If a router is handing out IPs, how is that stealing?
Unless we are talking wpa/wep encryption cracking, or possibly abusing the connection, I don't see what the problem is.
This is anything BUT unfortunate.. Once agreed upon standards are the norm everyone will benefit, and it'll save a ton of work in the long run.
yay for MS on this call

.... you insensitive clod :)
.....and I still can't find anything resembling performance benchmarks? :(
I really want this thing, anyone know if it can run 720p h264 video?
That's like benchmarking picture quality of a HDTV thrugh an SD tvshow.
"It's common knowledge on..."
:)
Tsk Tsk Tsk
That'll buff right out.....
FX is an abbreviation for effects... or fed ex...or an instrumental song from Black Sabbath's 1972 album Black Sabbath, Vol. 4
:)
FireFox F...F..
See how that works?
I dare you to find a 2 letter abbreviation that is unused.
