Even if a phone was worth it's own weight in antimatter, had quadruple HD resolution, with a lifetime rated powercell and software compatibility with every piece of code ever written and a gui that is so intuitive and pleasurable to use that it would herald a new era of human cooperation and focus our attention in such a way that we would solve every problem humanity faces and will ever face, and could make calls OK too..

I live in Denmark, and I'm extremely proud that the gov'ment didn't bow to the pressure and apologise for what a private newspaper printed, or even punished them. This was after massive protests and demands from countries that didn't quite understand the idea that freedom of expression isn't up for discussion, and the government was indeed powerless to punish something that wasn't illegal.

A real shame, as the device definetly has potential. It's not about hating apple, it's about hating that locked down feeling. That is probably not an issue for most people out there, but for me they are dealbreakers.
What I absolutely hate the most about any modern 3d game is that even a relatively beefy machine, I get a noticeable LAG on the input, even if framerates are good, unless i set graphics options to low/low/low etc .
It makes my games unplayable, and I lose interest because it prevents any kind of immersion.
Before people start discussing if drives should be overwritten 32 or 2^32 times, please show me ONE proven example of a regularly zeroed drive being recovered.
Apparently quicktime will be supported natively.... So that's about 4 fewer processes running on the standard install (quicktime agent/quicktime update/"quicktime install safari and set as default browser for my friends and family who are conditioned to press "yes" to remove dialog boxes - agent")

Believe me, I've had nothing but headaches with my Radeon 3650 mobility, and being a laptop, I'll have to live with it.
But for the foreseeable future, any ATI chip in a laptop is a dealbreaker
