Small is nice, but Apple is leaving ports off of the laptop to make it smaller. I have to go buy an adapter to use ethernet on my rMBP. I can see that for the Air, but I have the Pro version.
I've been an Apple fanboy for a while, but they are making fewer and fewer computers that I want to buy. My ideal MacBook has an ethernet port and user servicable RAM/HD/battery.
My comment was more about the administration requiring students to wear a RFID card so the amount of money the school gets can be maximized. This just points out how administrations are gaming the system to get their funding and thus spending less time on figuring out how to teach the children.
I'm an Apple fanboy and I never buy accessories from them. I'd keep an eye on monoprice.com and see when they start selling them. Currently all I could find was thunderbolt to dvi/hdmi/vga. They also had a cable with mini displayport on both end for $4. I don't know if you could use that as a thunderbolt cable.
Usually I'm a big fan of monoprice. Though you can easily find HDMI cables for reasonable prices locally.
When my father upgraded to an HD setup last fall I told him to buy the HDMI cables he needed at Five Below.
Does anyone know what hardware this would run on? While I expect that using Objective-C and GNUStep may get some iPhone developers to try this platform. I wouldn't expect much a lot of code iOS to be portable. The UIKit framework is the core that runs iOS apps, which is something that GNUStep does not have at this point. Is Sony planning on have a touch interface or something more conventional?
I also suggest checking what toner cartridge the laser printer uses. Try to buy one that uses the cartridge that staples/office depot seem to have a decent stock of. That said, most of the cartridges I've bought have been for printers that I got from someone and not bought new. Honestly, I think I've only bought toner 3 times in the last 15 years. Ink is for suckers.
I know the iBook G4 that I owned had a such a painful process to swap the drive that I paid Microcenter to replace it. I think most of the G3/G4 portables from Apple had you basically take the whole laptop apart to get at the drive. On the other hand, I have replaced the drive on the white MacBook myself.
For those that don't know. The Macintosh IIfx was probably the largest desktop mac ever sold. Granted the current Mac Pro or a PowerMac 9500 are probably bigger, but they are supposed to go under your desk.
I graduated college with a degree in Electrical Engineering. I have the sad joke, that I have now forgotten more math than most people learn. But the fact is that I don't use the really complex math I learned and have tools that will do the simple math for me.
What gets me about AoD is that line wasn't in the director's cut. I believe the commentary track makes make mention that they like the revised line better than the original "I'm not that good."
I think the proper acronym is DINK - Dual Income No Kids. This led me to come up with the SINKING acronym for an old coworker. It stands for Single Income No Kids Incredibly Needy Girlfriend.:)
This is probably one of the few threads where this meme is on topic. To put this in perspective we are probably the native american indians greeting the european explorers. And we know how well that turned out for them.
If you're doing PHP development and want a off the shelf solution then I would point you to the Laravel Homestead. http://laravel.com/docs/5.0/ho...
I would like it if different pass codes unlocked to different layouts. This way I can have a more restricted layout and app for my son.
Cheap
Easy to repair(/upgrade)

The terrorist organization in GI Joe is Cobra. Hydra is a terrorist organization in the Marvel Universe fighting SHIELD and Captain America.
Maybe I should buy a copy of PhoneView (http://www.ecamm.com/mac/phoneview/) and setup my own computer forensics firm.
It took him 40 days to do a clean install after the users got their hands on it.

Somehow I think the students have turned in the product and are no longer the consumer in this case.

Also from the news on the dd-wrt site. It looks like Buffalo will be shipping some of their high performance routers with the dd-wrt firmware.

2a Trying to get your Javascript to work in Facebook's sandboxed version (FBJS) only make the nightmare worse.
It does, though I'm a firewire loving Apple fanboy. :)
At one point the two standards were close in price. These days firewire case are getting rare and more expensive while usb case are pretty cheap.
I would say Children of Men was the last one I saw that meet your conditions.
That will make ps -ef work on OS X.
