why not just have a national tax like the UK has? you pay a tax for every thing you buy and you then have non of this IRS tax evasion, because you have to buy things, so you then pay your taxes that way. Hell most states and cities get there money only from sales and property taxes. (yes some states have incomes tax but I am not in one so...)
My thought about what time shows are on is this, I never watch a show "live" any more. I all ways just have the DVR record the show and watch it when it is a good time for me. So with more and more people having some kind of DVR why not have the show come on at some crazy time? for all I care, it could be on at midnight or 3am or when ever. All I know is that it recored it, and I go and watch it when I have the time to.
How is this any different then say loopt or other apps like this that are all ready out? Because every watches what Google does and picks it apart. But does not look to see if any one else has all ready done it.
Well, the problem here is that electronic files cross the border every day. It is this thing called the internet that does it night and day. so are they going to keep a copy of all that data to? and like you say, what is the diffrence from a papper copy of the same data on my computer, and why can they take a copy from my computer but not of the one in my hand?
I know that there has to be some kind of legal grounds for Google, because you how can they block Google's maps and let other map sites like Yahoo and Mapquest work just fine? Seems like Comcast is more or less playing a monopoly card than anything else. Because this would drive more people to Yahoo's and Mapquest's website, there for giving them more AD revues, because the number of people using their sites went up. I know that Comcast is not Yahoo or Mapquest, but any way you want to look at if they are blocking one of the competing sites, they are taking money away from one and feeding it to another. So there for Comcast is all playing with the stock value of each company to. This seems like this is one place that no one has really looked when they let ISP think about blocking and or making sites pay for better bandwidth to their sites.
I am glad that Comcast has moved out of the Dallas area, for one my cable bill has gone down and now that they are doing all this I am glad they are gone. But that is not to say that Time Warner will not be the next to do something like this. Now my friend that lives in a Comcast area up north is having problems with VPN, VNC, RDC and such connections, to many different locations all over the US. So where does this blocking stop? With how much you pay Comcast to be your ISP when and where is customer right anymore?
Just hope that FORD does not start to make something like this for a car. Or if they do, hope that they are not like a Crown Victoria or a Pinto. Can any one say BOOM?
You have a company that I have never heared of that owns some kind of IP comes out of the wood works when some other lager company is making money at it. Not when they first start, but after they make money at. This way the compnay can not say well we do not have any money to pay you for something that you should have said some time ago. Aka when we started this some time ago. If you own the IP then you need to stop people before they get going not after they are fully up and running. and if they are fully up and running, then fine they can not sell any thing new, but the people all reaedy using it are not cut off from it.
Well this is good, but at the same time all Dell sales is Intel chips. So if you factor them in they are not really on top. But I am sure they will get there some time soon.
Does any one see the correlation with the move Fight Club here and the comment about deep space exploration? Because I really would like to head over to planet Starbucks right now and get a cup of java. Or swing by the Microsoft Galaxy and file a buy report about my space ship's blue screening all the time.
Living a city where there are two major cities sitting vary close to each other and a major airport between them. (Dallas - Ft. Worth) You start to see patterns that make you think a bit more about really is causing global warming. What you can all ways see temperature wise in the north Texas area is that it is most of the time 5 to 10 degrees F cooler West of the Dallas - Ft. Worth area. Then you moving east in to Ft. Worth the temp starts going up and the more east that you go the higher the temp gets. Done and told Dallas (being east of Ft. Worth and the DFW airport is all ways 2 to 3 degrees hotter then Ft. Worth. So, what is making Dallas hotter then Ft. Worth? The fact that the normal jet stream of air here moves mostly west to east. So when the Sun shines on the concrete or asphalt on the roads all day long and makes the ground that much hotter and then the wind blows the air over this increased temperatures of the roads and airport runways it just keeps building until it gets back over an area where there are less roadways to start cooling the air. Every one keeps looking at pollution as being the main reason for global warming. It is a factor that should not be over looked but no one is looking at the fact that cities are growing all over the world so this means that roadways are being added to and widened all the time. Thus adding to the surface area of a really big heater. Having lived out in a country environment I know that once the sun goes down it starts to cool off, but the city is not the same. It can take a city a hour or two to start to see any real drop in temperatures.
I find it getting more and more crazy every day. The problem is, just like in really life, people fear what they do not undersatnd and the Internet for a lot of people out there, they do not get what the Internet is good for and they just point out what all it is bad for. and what they are saying is bad, is not bad if they really look at what is going on, and what is happening because of it. Like with the RIAA and Napster, slaes go up when Napster is running, you shut them down because people can download the music, and then your slaes go back to what they were before Napster and you are still mad saying that it is all the other file sharing apps out there still. I still take the point of view that the Internet is a big network, that is open for any one to share and exchagne information openly with who every they want. The Internet can not the filed under normal Laws that work/don't work for the real world. This is a difrent place, and it is made totaly difrent. The difrence is also that the people with power in the real world do not have all that power on the Inernet. On the Internet the people have more power then the big companies and that bug, and lets fear set in. This then kicks in we better shut them down, so that we can silnce there voice, but on the Internet one voice only takes seconds to get around the world, and get peopel to see that they may be right. The Internet needs no laws to it, if you leave your system open to hacks, because you did not fix bugs, then shame on you for not fixing them. All I am trying to say is that the Internet should be open, and you should not have to worry about what you are doing is leagel or not, or if you have to worry about some one coming and beatting down your door.
When is spam no longer spam? Most people that I see complaining about spam is people that get e-mail with fack headers. But what about people who are really just using it to advertise, and do not fake the headers? Also, why is that people complain so much about getting spam in their e-mail box, when you get just about the same thing in your snail mail box every day... with e-mail spam all it is a signal click that deletes it, with snail mail it never really stops, and all the paper just takes up space in the land fills. And what about the companies that send out the spam e-mails for people, and do keep the remove list, the way that they should, but most people just get mad, and voice out against e-mail spam, but never do ask to get removed, because to many people have all ready abused the system. e-mail spam will not stop, and there are a few companies out there that do keep the remove list and such, but there are more people out there just using our e-mail more because they no that your is a person on the other end. and just about any one that can get on-line can send out all the spam that they want to. with a simple look on the net you can find tons of programs to send out 200,000+ e-mails an hour. and it will come with a 1,000,000 e-mails. I guess the thing is, it is a no win situation that we have.
If 10% of the world is on-line, then why is it that any one government tries to control what is on-line, and how we get it, and the way that we get information? If the government of one place does not agree on the same rules, what happens, and who is right and who is wrong? This is why I still belive that the Internet is what ever the people on the other side of the computer make it to be. all it is, is a world wide network, and when you get 10% of the world on to the same network, what happens, we trade/share our information, files, and know how. So then what happens? they try to stop it. who has the right to stop what goes over your network? the network admin, or your slef. what whould be any difrent with the Internet???
Has it come to the point that every thing has to start charging for things, after the fact, and find out that they will not be able to do it right, so have to pull back on it, and make it seem like they are giving it back for to us. where do the people that make the calls for things like this come from? because where ever it is I do not want to go there ever.
no wonder you can never find what you need to on other search sites, they all have to many people paying to get on the list. I only use google, because if you really want to find what you are looking for, today, then that is the only way.
yah, if you are doing your dream job, nothing, and making money doing "nothing" hey, that is what alot of the fall out dot coms did too. but what an idea to have your life, sent all over the world..... wait wasn't that all ready done before, with that guy that had to live in that house and stuff..... hmmmm something new would be nice.
This is a start to driver less cars, but what how many people would trust there lives to a computer, I might, if it did not run windows, but when my car bule screens I do not want to be in it.
After every emergency broadcast test, my TV will show a terminal login prompt to a
Fedora release 10 (Cambridge) Kernel 2.6.27.5-117.fc10.i686 on an i686 (tty1)
TWCPlanoEAS login:
and it will stay there until I turn the cable box off and back on again.

I guess that I should remove that text to speech app that I have so they do not try and sue me for listen to my books that I have bought....
How is this any different then say loopt or other apps like this that are all ready out? Because every watches what Google does and picks it apart. But does not look to see if any one else has all ready done it.
This is just more prof that Verizon techs do not work, while at well work.
I guess some one needs to setup a Tor Hidden Service for streaming radio. I think that is going to be about as pirate radio as you can get.
As for how well that would work? Test it out and find out I guess...

In our office the Muzak is coming in over dish network, so not sure that would work so well, unless your building is pulling it in a difrent way.

so I guess this would be the next step getting closer to that PS-9 system right?
