You mean its somehow WORSE in Europe? How is that even possible? Every FM station in my area plays the same 20 songs that have been approved for that genre. Radio stinks.

Opie and Anthony were hired to provide an uncensored, free-wheeling, unscripted show. I feel they've done exactly that with Homeless Charlie's comments. Yet XM suspended them, and will probably fire them, anyway. They did exactly what XM wanted them to do, and then after the fact XM decided that they didn't like it.
I pay XM to provide me with uncensored talk, and I pay them to provide me with the Opie and Anthony show. They no longer perform these tasks. Why shouldn't I have canceled?
Still, aren't there a couple HUNDRED other channels on XM that one could listen to besides the O&A show? It's like canceling your cable because of bad reruns of the Rosanne show or something that "offended" you on the Colbert Report. Just change the channel, people. If nobody listens to that channel, it'll get canceled eventually.
Not really. Most Opie and Anthony listeners bought an XM unit simply because they wanted to hear Opie & Anthony. If XM takes them off the air, these users lose their favorite feature. Would you fault an NFL fan for canceling DirecTV if they take their "every NFL game, ever" package off the air? After all, they can just watch something else on Sundays, right?

Imus's annual charity drive, which was scheduled well in advance of this whole deal, was set for last Thursday and Friday. CBS/MSNBC couldn't even let him finish out his career on a high note by raising money for sick kids, they had to fire him before (MSNBC) and during (CBS) the telethon.

Considering that McCain and Guilani are the front runners, how is electing a Republican the "worst-possible-outcome"? If the choices were a third Bush term, or Cheney, or Jeb, or Rice, you might have a point, but do you really feel that McCain or Guilani would be as bad as the current Republican admin?
Considering how McCain and Bush smashed each other going for the nomination in 2000, McCain can almost run as the challenger, instead of the incumbent party.
I for one would be pissed if I had a 360 and heard about this. I bought the DS right when it came out, and I've felt like an idiot since the DS lite came out.
As it is, this might be a great time to pick up a 360 Premium (or whatever the current 'best' model is) on the cheap. I don't want/need HDMI, as I don't plan on buying a 1080p TV any time soon, and I'll probably never fill the hard drive.
This also might be a ploy by MS to finally get all of the buggy first-run 360's off the shelves. Hopefully the Elite won't have the same drive issues the current ones do.

I really want to bring my letters to major dicatators over the years when I go to RightsCon and get them signed. And its so cool to hear about all the new rights before anyone else. I'm so stoaked!

What about Office 95 and Windows 95? If I recall, anything that gave a mod 7 result of 0 was accepted, so both all 0s and all 7s would work. Somehow, those values ended up on all my very offical and very real MS authencity certificates, which is why my installations had those as the serials.
I was hoping this there would be news of a Wii system update, perhaps to allow the Classic Controller to be used with Gamecube games on the Wii. As it is, you have to use a Gamecube controller. The Classic has all the buttons you would need, even the analog-style L and R triggers, but for some reason, it is not set up that way. I really don't want to buy a Wavebird, and I really REALLY don't want an ugly dongle sticking out of the top of my nice new Wii.
I preordered a Wii from EB, and was told they would sell the units they get on launch day in the order of who got there first. I was 31st of 32 at my location, so if they are short even a few, I'll be missing out. Any word on whether they'll be calling Wii customers too?
