As far as US intelligence/any intelligence whatsoever knows, North Korea doesn't have any nukes or missiles; they're trying to build them, but failing. They are incredibly far from missiles that can hit anywhere close to the US.
North Korea has been producing and exporting missiles of increasing range and sophistication for a while now. Just this year they test fired a missile over Japan. Last time I checked Japan was a ally and major trading partner. N.Korea will very soon produce some crude nukes. They have their own supply of uranium. We did 50 years ago, so I think they are capable of 1940s technology.
North Korea has become that crazy white trash guy down the street that beats his kids and points a gun at everybody that walks down the street. Europe doesn't care because they live across town and don't really have any friends in the neighborhood. The UN is as effective as barney fife. It may be time for the US as self appointed world police to take out the trash.
Dish networks PVR is restriction free. It will record anything you want and keep it. It also has the nice 30 second skip on the remote (with out any codes to turn it on). I use my old All-in-Wonder card to permanently record shows from it. The only thing it lacks is the smart recording functions that TIVO has, but then that function sounds like it would be a lot of work to delete things it records that you do not want.
Yes but to use a cheque in Britain you have to show a card from your bank that is basically a replacement for a ID card. In the US our drivers license number is used and verified by a computer in some places. Both systems have a similar burden of proof.
I have a US drivers license that does not have a photo on it due to being military. To avoid dimwit cashier confusion I use only cash or credit/debit cards.
The big problem with the GameGear is that it used a small flouresent tube a backlight without a on/off switch. I play old GameGear ROMs on my Tapwave Zodiac using emulator called GuineaPig from -.
I wonder how long it be before the PSP can be programmed for EMUs like a few other consoles?
So when does the Screen and car adapter come out? My kids are getting bored with the PSone and matching screen on long trips. It would be nice to have one device to play PS1,PS2, and DVDs
This is funny. My 74 Cadillac Elderado Convertible still has the original 8-track player in it. I installed a Sony 10 disc MP3 changer with a remote and FM modulator, totally hidden. I guess I should install XM now before it's outdated.
Does mean my Palm Tung E is also an 8-trackplayer?
Forget the batteries that take hours to recharge and run down halfway home. Have a alcohol fuel cell onboard and you could fill up at the local liquor store. Or maybe a alcohol fueled micro-turbine generator for some real power.
The Tapwave Zodiac is superior. It has a much nicer form factor, can use 2 SD cards at the same time, Nice loud stereo speakers, a real 3d GPU, and good battery life. It also has several good EMUs for just about every cartridge console system. made.:
I own both the original VHS set and the special edition widescreen VHS set. So when I managed to get them first thing on Netflix I fired up my burner and stretched my fair-use rights to the limit 8^)
Me too. I just bought the Picachu version of the N64 for $19 at game exchange for my collection and 6 games for $5 each. They also had a Colecovision, Jaquar, TurboGraphix16, and Sega Master system w/phaser. Each one was $50. The used game stores are know the first place I go for my old game system fix.
Cheaper open way to go is to just burn MPG files to a DVD-RW disc and watch up to 8 hours worth on a portable DVD player. Most of the players out there can play MPG, JPG, and MP3s. I just bought one with a 7-inch screen for $299 that can also double as a video screen for a camcorder (VIVO). Now they just need to add DivX/XviD and OGG support.
The question could be was it 60,00 different movies or 20,000 copies of each of the LOR movies. I doubt there has been that many different titles converted to DVD.
Now the Disney Cops will be able to prosecute you for 2 broken laws
I do the same thing except I use DVD-Author to combine two movies with cool menus and then DVD-Shrink them to fit onto one disc for the rugrats. 8^)

Because we do not have enough distros as it is 8^)
Nuclear power could also fuel a vigorous space program

Best thing about it is that it was free 8^)

I remember going to Target and entering these two lines on all the commodore, atari, and adam computers:
10 print" Target Sucks";

Ready.

May be SimOne will bring out a album soon.
Could this bring about the end of civilisation?
I believe Futurama addressed this issue in the episode with the Lucy-Lu-Bot 8^)

If he threw in a couple of furbies, Sky-Net could be created.

When my son's play Quake 3 they usually play as Storm-troopers against a team of Jar-Jar and Spongebob bots. 8^)

WiFi should me considered for mobile wireless node infrastructure.
WiMax(802.16) looks much more promising for fixed wireless service with a usable range of 30 miles and 70 Mbit/s.
