Indeed, this looks to potentially be a really nice platform for remote system administration as well as a phone. Too bad the first version isn't configured with the frequencies for AT&T's faster data network.
Plus they don't stretch very easily, you'd need to apply considerable pressure to get them to expand, and the average guy's blood flow is not going to do that.
You aren't supposed to use latex balloons for condoms! No wonder you have those problems.:-)
My understanding: Under the DMCA, you can be in trouble for possessing technologies that could be used to circumvent technological protections on copyrighted material.
Let's just hit everyone living with a DMCA take down notice because they have a brain in their head! You never know, that brain might be used as a tool to circumvent a protection mechanism some time.
You're either stupid or joking - which one is it? If gold had inherent value we'd be using it for something else than money, doh!
Gold is used for other things than money. Besides the obvious uses in jewelry, it is used for plating electrical connectors to prevent oxidation. It is also used for coloring certain glassware (red). I'm sure there are others I haven't even thought of.
Cisco has been pushing into the Fibre Channel switch market also, and those switches have control processors running Linux on them. They were pushing various software companies to port things like SAN backup applications onto those processors. Ironically they refused to let us consider porting a custom data mover application from our archive software into the switch because we were an end user.
I only saw one set of grandparents about once every 5 years. It seems like having the ability to visit with them on the screen is a bonus, but doesn't make up for grandma making home made cinnamon buns fresh and hot when you get up in the morning.
Not if the wall your hand is touching describes a closed loop. Perhaps you should have marked your starting point with your blood so that you could recognize you were going in circles, and switched to the other wall.:-)
I love it. At the end of the video when the robot has just about reassembled itself, the narrator says the robot will complete its task. The robot then promptly falls over.:-)
No one will be able to live at 50 MPH! You won't be able to breathe at that speed. Best that they limit it to 25 MPH. If (insert favorite deity here) had meant for humans to go that fast, (deity) would have given them wings!
Nah, just a bunch of dual core chips. Take a look at the IBM Journal of Research and Development which has a lot of nice detail. Look at Vol. 48, No. 3/4 and Vol. 51, No. 1/2.
If the time lapse is the radar loop, that can be really useful. I look at the radar loop when it might rain or snow to determine if I should be leaving work early because I rode the motorcycle. If the main precipitation is headed somewhere else, I know I can ignore the clouds or light rain.
Please, where do I sign up to take part in this scheme?
Anything related to the RVer's business is explicitly prohibited by the FCC on the amateur bands.
Should be Funny.
I eventually just convinced them to fire me so I could get away.
Why didn't you just quit? Seems like it would have been the easier thing to do?
Best thing I did for my peace of mind was to stop logging in to the work systems on weekends unless I was specifically called about a problem.

5 watts is not a lot of energy. It's not like it is an induction cook top and you are a ferrous pan or anything. :-)
This is right. 1,000 one TB tape cartridges does not too much. Until you need the robotic tape library in which to store it.

So, we might actually see something called Perl 6 released before the end of the century? They've only been talking about it for ever, it seems.
I agree. I decided to not pursue any advanced degree because I was sick and tired of taking tests.

Indeed. I found smit to be a real pain in the rear to use. I'm glad I don't have to use AIX for my stuff.
Just add on the shipping as an additional charge. Someone will buy it.
Don't forget to always mount a scratch monkey.

I though for sure his top tech annoyance would have been Adam Savage. :-)

I found this to be more correct:
% man woman
No manual entry for woman
I second the Goldtouch. I've been using one for a couple of years now at work. I like that it is easy to adjust when needed.
