Well, I don't know how many companies have done it, but United Airlines did and it was disaster.

I know, I worked there as a non-union employee and I quit in 2002, seeing how the union workers were slowly but surely destroying the company.

Chipotle is the spawn of the McDevil

Not true! Chipotle chiles are actually serrano or jalapeño chiles that are cured and spiced, then smoked til dry.

They are sold dried at mexican markets, after which they can be made into salsa, or just eaten whole after they have been dipped into a bit of vinegar to re-soften them and spread the spicy goodness.

Absolutely not! NAFTA benefits the US far more than it benefits Mexico. The US has been blocking a lot of mexican products and services from entering the country because of protectionist lobbying.

Just one example: USian truck drivers can enter Mexico without any trouble since day one of NAFTA, Mexican truck drivers are being blocked from entering the US because of lobbying from the teamsters union. Therefore, both US and Mexican producers trying to sell products to either side have to hire USian transports...

Of course nobody has recourse on the WTO against the US, since the WTO is US-based and has never decided against the US in a trade dispute... Combined with the fact that mexican politicians would never do anything to upset Uncle Sam...

However, the solution to the israeli/palestinian problem could be a simple one, if only enough people in both groups would be reasonable.

    First Step: Depopulate Jerusalem!
Since Jerusalem is a holy city for both groups (not to mention the christian communities there), there's no way any of them would stand it being in the sole possesion of the other. So Jerusalem should be a UN controlled DMZ where religious visits from any of the groups would be welcomed, although the visitors would have to be escorted by blue helmets, at least for a few years.

After all, Linus wrote the Linux to improve Minix on Minix.

No. Linux and Minix have different missions. Minix was a teaching tool, it's mission was not to become a full featured Unix workalike. Its goal was to remain small and comprehensible to further its teaching mission. Linux had a very different mission. It is silly to compare the two. Linux is no more of an improvement on Minix than a wrench is an improvement on a screwdriver. Different tools for different jobs, or missions in this case.

I think what the original poster meant was that Linus was running Minix when he was coding Linux, and he first announced Linux on the Minix newsgroups, inviting Minix users to try it out and comment on it.
