    well that and the insane amounts they have to spend on workers salaries and benefits when compared to the rest of the world. There is no way they can compete. It's funny when you realize that becasue of the unions and their short sightedness, many of those jobs will disappear in the next decade or so.

    I submitted this article from MSNBC (was rejected last week) the most interesting part is it calims that Firefox and other browsers are now at 18% of all adult US users. This was a random phone survey with a margin of error of 2%. I think it is some of the best data on the penetration of alternative browsers and something people could use to back up decisions to not just support IE. 20% if the market is not an amount that can be ignored.

    PS if you think you've seen this comment before, i posted it once already. It's a good article with pretty hard stats on Firefox and other's market share that /. won't take.

    C#
    double tip = billTotal * tipRate;
    Console.WriteLine();
    Console.WriteLine("Bill total:\t{0,8:c}", billTotal);

    simple example, but you get the point.

    transcriber is natural handwriting recognition. you just scribble in cursive and it does a pretty good job. Ive been using this since my MIPS Aero PDA back in 2000. Palm as far as i know has nothing that compares.

Among the most important are the Mach 3.0 microkernel operating-system services, based on 4.4BSD (Berkeley Software Distribution), the high-performance networking facilities, and the support for multiple integrated file systems. Darwin also includes a number of command-line tools. Mac OS X developers can use Darwin to port UNIX/Linux applications and to create kernel extensions.
