Actually Sony has been making money on the PS2 console for a quite a while now. They combined some chips and now the most expensive aspect of the PS2 is the DVD license.
The issue wasn't the electoral college as much as the integrity of the system in flordia from turning away voters to a possibly confusing ballot to very subjective recounts, all in a state run by the winning candidate's brother.
> I hope he get raped in the anus by a big gay black dude.
Grammar alert! "Get" doesn't agree with he. "I hope he gets raped..." and "I hope he will get raped..." both work. Also beware 50% of your sentences are in the passive voice.
The issue isn't apps as much as plugins, because the ABI isn't frozen. Mozilla compiled with gcc3.1 expects to communicat with a plugin in a certain format however gcc2.x uses a different naming scheme.

erm actually most of mozilla is dual liscesed under the gpl there are a few bits where they havent found the authors still floating arounder under the MPL only.
Still no linux version, what a shame, and don't point me to that codeweavers junk. Linux users shouldn't have to pay and run it un-native when its free and native for everyone else.
How com VA seems to be the only advertiser on Slashdot? Doesn't seem to say a lot about how well the ads on slashdot are going. OK, I'm exagerating, I see a think geek ad every once in awhile too.

> Gnome GNU/Linux
The G in Gnome stands for GNU so thats reduntant.
Further more GNU stuff on a "normal linux system" Has far more code than the linux kernel
there are utilities just as good for rpm. There is apt for rpm but personally i use "up2date-nox -u"

yes, a gcc3.1 program or library needs the gcc libstdc++ from gcc3.1 but mozilla needs plugins that match the libstdc++ it uses

Yes but MacOS X 10.2 isn't an option for manypeople because they don't ship X11 and it is non-free.

Think Geek is owned by VA.
Its only for PC and Xbox, not PS2. Why not PS2? I'd much rather support evil sony than most evil Microsoft.
The metric system can be pretty broken too.
How many eV's are in a joule?
How many Pascals is a mmHg?
How many newtons is 3.45kg on earth?
Whats the charge in coulombs on a proton?
You have to look for a table and a calculator to answer those questions. See how broken the metric system is?
the default gtk1 font sucks and there is no easy way to change it in gnome2
I don't see Abiword. Why was Abiword dumped?
585 is the rochester ny area that split off of buffalo's 716. buffalo won 716 because they had more people but fewer numbers.
go into nautilus prefrences and uncheck nautilus manages the desktop
More like you need to get a better TV like Mozilla or Galeon where that feature can be disabled
Will they screw me over on this one too and release an Unlimited edition like a month after I buy it?
haven't EM and weak been unified?
Abiword and Gnumeric files are xml too
