    only a moron would pay a monthly fee for commercialized radio like XM. Unless you're a truck driver or really do drive all over the country all day every day. Btw, I have a feeling you live near a big city and still want to get sat. radio... every big city I've been too tends to have some quality music thanks to competition. Jacksonville, FL is run by Clear Channel and isn't worth wasting time listening too. I want my old planet radio back, not clear channels version.

    You mean like using any avaiable weapons, such as, oh I dunno, ROCKS, to fight an enemy with much superior force, say, TANKS?

    I concur. I started with Wolf3d at age 12 and games just got more and more violent from there, I have the same disposition as you. And the only way to keep your kid safe from guns is to teach them how to use them and care for them.

    Yes I do, its the inherent freedom of information pal. You didnt come up with that code all on your own no matter what you claim. Everything we do in life affects and contributes to the next thought in our heads, so your code is a compilation of other instances you've observed and experienced in your life. I could've cut you off in traffic, thus setting you on a path that ended up with you writing a nice n' tasty piece of code to control a robotic hammer that pops out of your hood crushes my car the next time I cut you off, and that code in turn could've been used to control other machines and so on and so forth.

    There is no such thing as intellectual property, only intellectual stimulation.

    Greed. Now thats something that definitely exists.

    microsoft not have the manpower of facilities? are you joking? quite frankly, having sony stop is a sham by MS b/c they didn't plan on letting anyone play their X-Crox. Have you seen the damn thing? It's a book PC without all the useful I/O ports not to mention heavy as hell for a 'console'. I'd rather have a PC I can upgrade to use the most recent f/x and whatnot than a proprietary POS console.

    becuase its a MAC and everybody knows Mac people are weird. Trust me, I just got "promoted" to Mac support at a rather large internet provider and all these mac heads are strange. They're like linux zealots without the command line (makes me feel like Luke when he was tempted by the darkside but recovered... from linux to windows to mac... mac heads are the recovering dark siders).

    I've always been the first to blurt "macs suck" but since I started teching the damn things, they've grown on me and I'm having a secret affair with OS X unbenownst to my faithful debian. Unfortunately, I can't afford a G4 else I'd have a real computer. ;)

    Perhaps I'm confused, but isn't public domain, PUBLIC DOMAIN. You mean to tell me that in 50,000 years when disney's © stuff enters the public domain, I can take it, republish it, and sue the hell out of anybody that uses it? The logic of the above statement seems to indicate that is perfectly possible. Sorry, but thats not what public domain is for. Public domain is for open, free access to the information without restriction. Aka, the real GPL License (and the PURPOSE of the GPL in the first place.)

    this worst part is, im not kidding.

    and its not futile. nothing is futile. its a matter of finding people willing to put forth their time and work for free, and suprisingly if you look ALL OVER THE NET, everyone is doing it. lack of bandwidth is just an excuse for lack of motivation. :P
